This mod should work on all computers regardless of whether you run a mac or pc. If you can run liteloader, then just drag and drop this to the place where liteloader looks for mods and you'll be good to go

Hello guys, just wanted to let you know I'm still alive and well. The reason for my absence is that I've switched over to iOS development with Swift for my latest projects and haven't really had time for Minecraft anymore. Hell, I don't think I've even opened the game in over 6 months.
Thank you Killjoy1221 and digitalshadowhawk for their work in keeping the mod alive. Either of you two have my permission to create your own continuation thread for this mod and keep it alive there (or just post the occasional version updates here, I don't care).
Apologies for not having the mod open source to begin with, but it seems like that didn't stop you from updating it. Unfortunately I've misplaced my flash drive I took from my old laptop with all the Gammabright source files on it so I still can't give it to you. Nonetheless, doesn't seem you even need it!
Thanks again for keeping Gammabright alive, this was one of my first coding ventures ever and I'm astonished with the reception of it.
I'd be more than happy to keep up development on this mod, but before I start a new thread for it, I'd appreciate if you could help me re-document the code and what everything's supposed to do, since I got the code from decompiling a previous version of gammabright, which excludes any and all comments. I understand some of it, but not all -- which is fine for simply updating from one version to another, but adding or improving features is more difficult this way.

I already released a 1.9.4 version, as well as a 1.10 version as links in some of the recent comments. Killjoy released a version for 1.9 as well here, so just scroll back through the comments until you find what you're looking for. I'm planning on making my own thread as the new dev for this mod, but that requires time off work that I don't have just yet
I've created the new thread with new backports and bugfixes all the way from 1.8.9 to 1.10, and have kept additional links for versions dating all the way back to 1.6.4.
You can find the new thread here. Please check there before asking for mod updates, as I may have already released the one you're looking for.

I have other mods installed with this mod as my own "client" (Joking its 5zig and other stuff like that)
Anyway. I was wondering if there could be/is a way to change where it says the gamabright? or disable it fully? Just some thoughts thanks
Btw good mod
I think if you open gammabright.json that is in liteconfig/common, and set autoHide to true, it will make the text disappear automatically after you see it.
Does this mod allow the brightness to be lowered below the minimum in the game? I like a dark atmosphere, and even the moody setting is just too bright and flashy for me.
This thread is abandoned, and mod development has been moved to here.
That being said, yes, it allows brightness to be lowered far below the minimum, though the sky and outdoor blocks will still remain the normal color, despite everything else being darker, simply because of their light level.

Does anyone have a version that works with flat 1.9? The server I'm on hasn't updated to 1.9.4 yet.
Killjoy released a version on this same thread not too long ago. I copied him, so just scroll up until you find the most recent version he released
Edit: here's the exact comment with the latest recompile for 1.9

Nonetheless, here's Gammabright for Minecraft 1.10

Sure thing. I actually found my flash drive too and have gone ahead and added some additional comments for you to reference. Thanks again.
