Slime Carnage is a mod that adds loads of little slimes into the game. Each slime has specific drops and also most slimes can only be found in certain biomes. There are also some NPC slimes and special slimes that can only be found in certain randomly generated structures. Some of the slimes also drop new items that can be crafted into a variety of things such as food, weapons and armour.
By the way, I am no way a graphic artist and I developed this mod alone so I did the best I could with the graphics.
Inside the config folder in the .Minecraft folder there should be a file called slimemod.cfg (ignore mod_slimemod.cfg one). In this file you can change the block and item ID's of the mod to avoid some conflicts with other mods.
There are a load of various little slimes added into the mod. Each has different drops of useful or not so useful items. Some of the slimes drop different coloured gels that can be made into armour, foods and other items. there is also a chance from most slimes to drop a blade fragment. These blade fragments can be formed into a dull blade then eventually some awesome swords.
Orange Slime - Can be found everywhere and drops orange gel that can be crafted into certain foods and can also be used to make torches.
Jungle Slime - Found only in jungle biomes. Has a various set of drops including bananas.
Snow Slime - Found pretty much where there is snow.
Swamp Slime - Only found in swamps. Be careful though, this slime poisons you.
Nature Slime - This slime drops green gel among other items. Can be found in both swamps and forests. these slimes tend to break off into little slimes when they die and can be a real pain.
Wood Slime - These are only found in forests.
Mushroom Slime - Found in mushroom biomes only.
Firey Slime - The only new slime so far to be found in the Nether. Be sure to bring fire protection when battling these.
Desert Slime - Found in deserts as you would expect. These slimes are the dropped of yellow gel that make certain items among the yellow slime armour.
Cactus Slime - Found only in deserts. They drop a random variety of items.
High Slime - The dropper of blue gel that is used to make various items and also the blue slime armour. These slimes are only found above 90 height in the world.
Glue Slime - These slimes make a layer of glue beneath your feet when trying to fight them that slows you down (like soul sand). These slimes are found in taiga and plains biomes.
Plains Slime - Found only in plains biomes, these drop the red gel. Red gel is used in crafting various items among the red slime armour set.
Creeper Slime - Only found below 50 height in the world, these slimes explode when they get close to you. Drops gunpowder a
Under Slime - These slime are only found below 25 height in the world and are very dangerous. They set you on fire so bring water or fire protection. These slimes also have a good chance to drop the sword hilt and a better chance at dropping normal slime balls.
Inuit Slime - Found in Igloo and sometimes in icy pylons. Has 100% chance to drop an iced sword. These hit a bit harder and have more health than the regular slime
Cave Slime - Can be found wherever there is a cave system. This slime doesn't hit hard at all and has a chance to drop stone, on occasion coal and more rarer iron ore or a blade fragment.
Mummy Slime - Only found at the moment where there is a spawner in the desert tomb structure. Slow moving but hits pretty hard. Drops include sandstone, bones, paper and a rare chance at a blade fragment
Old Man Slime - NPC slime that lives in a mud cave. No real purpose except to guard the sword which must not fall into hostile slime use.
Doc Slime - Doc can only be found in the lab structure. He is another NPC who can be interacted with by right clicking on him. He does experiments on his test subjects.
Other than the above slimes, there are also slime villagers (only spawning when you make slime village buildings) and a few other enemies found only in certain structures.
Random Structures
Old Man Hideout - Has an NPC inside and a chest containing a reward. Only usually 1 of these generates per world and is usually not too far from where you spawn
Slime Ruins - Nothing special and usually found randomly in biomes where there is grass
Tents - These contain a chest with loot and also a random slime spawner inside so be careful! Could be useful to set up slime grinders
Igloo - Found on ice in the coldest of biomes. Contains a chest with loot and a slime that can mainly only be found in igloos
Desert Ruins - Much like the slime ruins, has no purpose but to imprint a slime face into the desert. Rumour has it though it may have been part of an ancient slime race that lived in hot climates
Desert Tomb - This is a currently unfinished structure. Eventually it will have stairs that go down into a sort of dungeon system containing dangers and loot.
Graves - These are comon and found in biomes wherever there is grass. There is also a 1 in 5 chance that these is a chest under the grave containing the start to building your own slime village
Sewers - In the sewers live a certain set of slimes with a high chance to drop the hilt used in crafting certain weapons. Also there are chests with loot
Doc's Lab - A place where Doc does his experiments on slimes. Contains no loot as of now but if there are any jailed slimes, you can kill those for loot.
Slime Village
I was originally going to have a randomly generated village but I thought it would be more fun to have a little more customisation. You can find some village scrolls underneath graves in a chest (1 in 5 chance of having a chest under a grave). I will hopefully look into a better system to obtain the scrolls at a future date. Anyway, here are the 9 different structures that can make up your village as of now and they are mainly based from the generated villages already in game (more will be added later).

Craft a dull blade, hilt and redstone dust into a fire sword. Same strength and durability as iron swords but also adds fire on hit on to mobs (if they aren't immune to fire).
Craft a dull blade, hilt and iron ingots into a katana. This is a pretty powerful weapon.
Craft a katana (has to be full durability), iron ingots and diamond into a diamond tipped katana. This is a powerful weapon stronger than diamond swords

This looks amazingly well-planned. And despite what you say, the graphics look pretty nice too. I'm tempted to try it, except that in general I stay away from new-mob mods because they mess up vanilla mob spawns.
First off I love this mod, download went perfect and there was no hassle like other mods. The slimes are awesome and everywhere. The only problem I have with this is that the slimes are too powerful. They take more hits than a creeper and at night they swarm like crazy. Still a great mod nevertheless and keep up the great work

Ok, well it is the first release so I can easily nerf them if they are too much. Feedback like this is what I need to get it to a nice level

Thanks for the quick reply :)...if you don't mind me asking, did u make the gel from the blue slimes purposely that strong?...because it takes a long time with any tool to break it away

That is a bug I think. Supposed to be easy to break like snow lol. Anyway I did an update where I nerfed the health of a lot of slimes to be same as creeper or zombie health and also made them not as overpowered an should only hit for 1 and half hearts or 2 hearts damage instead of more

Thank you for that...lol, I'm sorry to be a pest but how do I update the mod?
Just redownload it (only my mod) for the link in the download section, delete the old zip file in the mods directory and put the new one in. Also I found what was up with the sticky stuff being hard to break to the next update will make it easy to break
Awesome idea but textures could be better (maybe add some clear to the slimes like normal ones? )
I have tried on various occasions to make them slightly transparent but the render code just doesn't seem to work unfortunately. I will keep trying and hopefully add it in at a later date
i tried to install it via mcpatcher it didnt work so i installed it manualy and it still doesnt work i have got tons of mods working before idk why this one isnt
