Feature Request: Instead of adding another button row to the title screen for sound packs, you should put "Singleplayer" and "Multiplayer" on one row and next to each other like "Options" and "Quit Game", and put the "Sound Packs" button on the right of the "Texture Packs" button instead of "Mods".
It makes sense for "Singleplayer" and "Texture Packs" to be on the same row as "Multiplayer" and "Sound Packs", respectively. You may be wondering, "Where does the 'Mods' button go?" Well, I suggest that instead of a textual "Mods" button, which would be the only one that is one button to a row and would look ugly, there should be an icon-based Mods button, to the right of "Quit Game", similar to how the icon-based Language button is to the left of "Options". This would make it symmetrical! With this setup, the title screen would be much more compact, and that is good because then the stuff about Minecraft Forge in the lower left wouldn't be covered by the buttons when I play windowed.
I also think that the description of the "Default" sound pack should be changed so that it also says "By C418". Since the description of all the recommended sound packs credit their respective creators.
I would like a non-forge version. Forge is not compatible with many of the mods I use. (Forge replaced the class files needed). And I use Magic Launcher.
Yes, forge is good for a lot of people, but the advanced moders will have problems. Just saying.
Define 'advanced moders', as the largest mods out there use forge currently. What mods do you use that do not work with forge modloader, beyond Better than Wolves and Risugami's mods, I havn't seen any that work with Forge's modloader, and if they do not, post on the Forge forums, and they'll have an answer for you.

you mean dumb modders use modloader and advanced modders that know what to do and shove their entire game with mods use forge
*facepalms* You people truly are beyond help.. Tell you how to post reasonable requests, show you how to fix forge, and you still cry like children. It's rather clear you won't ever learn no matter how easily someone lays out the steps for you to fix it. Probably the reason Poptarts come with instructions on how to remove them from the packaging, people like you couldn't figure it out and started to make complaints. Enjoy clinging to modloader and less and less mods focus to the slow updating process and split functionality while the other modmakers focus on... y'know.. moving forward.
I don't see why so many people are having issues with forge.
It installs exactly the same way that ModLoader does. Use one or the other, and all ML (not MLMP) mods should work fine with Forge. If they don't, you make a post on the forge forums and they fix it ASAP.
As long as you use the latest forge version (latest, not recommended), you shouldn't have any issues at all.
On Topic: I kept thinking to myself that I needed a soundpack to make the game sound as good as my texture pack looks, and then I found this which works perfectly for me. Thanks =)
Also i like how you enter the minecraft menu how it plays the hidden song
Also i have 2 questions to ask you
1: I want to make a soundpack! But how to i make files into ogg files??
2: (not really a question) but i have audio mod and modloader and it still works
Pardon, i have better than wolves installed, as well as modloader (and a few other irrelevant goodies) Will this mod work since there is a modified version of forge that comes with BTW.
If not due to modloader being there, i would like a version that is compatible with modloader please.
Just like a bunch of other people here, I would like to request a ModLoader Version. 90% of my mods require ModLoader, and I really want to use this mod (And it was compatible last version, so I don't see why you dropped the support. unless of course it just takes longer to create a ModLoader version.)

Just doublechecking as you actually have a partially informed post so worth looking into.. you do know Forge has modloader functionality right? Unless you're using better than wolves and risugami's mods, I don't really know of any others out there that absolutely will not work with the forge's version. Post them on the Forge boards so they know there's incompatibility, and they'll work on it?
It crashes a couple seconds after creating a new world. After that, the world crashes attempting to load.

Former Lead Modeler of Pixelmon
I used to use this mod. But now I don't.
Because of FORGE. I use modloader.
This has been my favorite mod for like, FOREVER. But now I can't use it.
PLEASE make this mod 1.3.2 for modloader. PLEASE!!!
Then I can use it without Minecraft crashing.
Also, what do you use to edit the sound packs? Tell me plz. Thx!
