Hi, i have really enjoyed your earlier mod "Utility mobs"'s versions.
So recently, i have updated the mod, installed it. But i have an error, every time i punch a golem (Or any mob of the mod) I get a client crash, Here is the error: <snip>
Help would be greatly appreciated.
So I'm working on a modpack involving the use of the Wasteland Mod, and one of the things it puts in is a variant of Zombies known as Day Zombies that basically don't burn in the daylight. I'd like to allow them to have the same variety of Special versions as the normal zombies do in this mod, but is there a simple way to do that, or will I have to do it all manually?
Hi. Found this mod and really want to use it but I just need to know compatibility with other mods, especially Headcrumbs. Does each variation of a mob have the same loot table? Manly, are the odds of a head drop the same across all variations? did some searching and really couldn't come up with anything.
Really hope I will be able to add this mod because this amount of variation will be awesome!
Thanks.
EDIT: I guess I really should mention I am referring to Special Mobs
Having a little problem with the Utilities Mobs mod, it doesn't recognize the Lycanite's Mobs as hostile. I put up a few turrets, lapis, around my tree farm to curb the ent problem and the ent walked right past the turret unchallenged. I put up a couple of obsidian golems and same problem.

That was a Lycanite's mobs bug, actually. Even without Utility Mobs, Vanilla Golems don't seem to recognize them, either.

O.o Weird, ok, as I was trying another turret mod that recognized them, but man did that mod burn though ammo. Well, I'll go over to the Lycanite's thread and ask about this. Thanks.

Oh no, I just made the golems generally target the same things as vanilla ones by default. For most mod entities, you must use the targeting manuals to force-target them.
For Lycanite's, vanilla golems don't target them because many are tameable - golems from my mod shouldn't have the same problem, though (even if told to attack a tameable type, they shouldn't attack those tamed by their owner or by players told not to attack).
I know this is out of place, but I will still ask: How do I give a item with subid in the drop function? For example, I want a drop chance of 10% for wither skeletons. Now you only are able to say the name, but not subid (397:1 1.6, minecraft:skull 1.7). I can't find it in the wiki...
You are looking for the item damage, which is specified similarly to the item id.

Hi FatherToast, does mobproperties allow configuration of what mobs attack? I'd like to configure it so that mobs attack celebrities from headcrumbs and animals. I want players to think about not only protecting themselves from mobs, but their animals as well. Thanks!
Heyo Father Toast I wanted to ask and i apologies if it was already asked but will dungeon crawler come back? I found that mod quite fun but it just never got updated =(
But I have a(nother!) question about mob properties. This time I'm attempting to mix MoCreature's medium fish and Harvestcraft's new fish types, giving a chance for the mod to drop a single item of a certain type of fish depending on wich biome it is at (rivers or oceans!)
