the zip folder does not get extracted it simply gets placed in the mods folder. you then need to create a xie folder that is not zipped and place the darkhax folder in their. if the server crashes when you install xie mod check to see if you have the argo library i mentioned. it is required only for the server.

the thing i like about xies mod is that server side has a built in feature similar to spout. if you want to change factors with a sword just open up the darkhax folder and find the .xie file with the swords in it. you can then make changes to the damage,durability and even the recipes. if their is id conflicts you can change the .xid file. all changes made serverside will be applied to the client to. with this in mind you can have many xie mods on your server and your members will only need the original api, pretty much they will download all xie mods installed on your server hope that made sense
I have a idea for you: Make a block like the anvil with a gui as the crafting table but bigger. Than you can make bigger and greater recipes.
thanks for the suggestion. i have already thought about adding this however i am not sure how realistic it would be for me to make it. this mod is coded in json so i cant change everything in minecraft like other java users would be able to use. i have however found that have a natural talent for java and im picking it up amazingly fast. today is my 3rd day of looking at tutorials on java and i can make/add the fallowing things

making mobs move differently (making the model move)

just a bit of an updater: the more armors mod has been put on the back burners however we are finishing up clouds sword (the fusion blade) also known as the breaker blade from terraria XD this sword will do 6 hearts of damage but costs around 180 iron ingots to make and the recipes are a little tricky. some balancing will be done before we release it. this mod will be on its own forum page and will have clouds sword, sephiroths sword and maybe armor that makes you look like them as usual these mods will also be for ssp and smp
we are also working on a new mod called darkmod. this mod is going to be similar to the aether as it will add new dimension and tones of content. the darkmod will not be multiplayer for a while im afraid.

you cant really compare the two mods. the intention of this mod is to add swords based on the elements of minecraft excluding the master sword. sword+ is a mod all about enchanted/mythical swords. i do realize their are 1 or 2 swords that are similar in concept however like i said its not fair to compare these mods seeming they don't add similar content except for 1 or two swords with similar names and the concept of swords in general.

the master swords was a reference to the master sword from the legend of Zelda. since their is no true master sword in the games or not that i recall it would seem out of line to add it.
unlike lots of people believe the master sword was given its name in reference to the zelda sword. not because it is the strongest sword in the game.
i consider people asking me to update as spam. the way more swords mod works is different then other mods. it will NEVER break with and update as it does not use java however it will not work unless both forge and xie api is updated. neither of them are atm so no updates. sorry.
