WeeklyItems is a mod that involves the community. Every week(more often sometimes!) 2 community suggested items and 1 item from my head get added. If you have an item request or a suggestion/tweak it will mostly likely get added!
Items
Diamond apple! Requires 1 diamond and 1 apple to craft 2 diamond apples which restore all of your health.
Spear head! Requires 2 diamonds to craft. Is needed to craft a spear.
Spear! Requires a Spear head and 2 sticks to craft. Has only 80 uses but does 20 hearts of damage!
Redstone can be crafted into redstone hunks.
Which can be crafted into redstone ingots.
Those can be crafted into redstone tools which have the same speed as iron but have 1500 uses.
Please tell me what you think of this mod and please leave item suggestions below.

Block: Lava Chest, auto smelts items if fueled or surrounded by lava, otherwise just a regular chest. (maybe make a double lava chest?)
If no blocks, then:
Item(s): Coal tools and Fiery tool. Coal tools are made in the same way as other tool sets, but with coal. And fiery tools are made by smelting an undamaged coal tool and when right clicked start fire.

Maybe a new ore in the Nether? Netherite, and it has good durability. A little better than diamond, but it can only be made in the nether. You cant get the resources then bring it to the normal world, recipe would have 2 diamonds instead of sticks, and ingots would be Netherite Gems.
Make it focus around upgrading diamond stuff because you've already got a diamond spear and apple. I reckon you should make diamond bows and arrows and change so its not spear head its diamond shards and with them you craft diamond apples and a bunch of diamond stuff. I could help with the textures if you want. Also make diamond bricks and stairs and slabs. Hope you take up this idea good luck

It would be awesome if you got some potion effect from the Diamond Apple. (Strength or something)

I tried to do something like that but the healing effect from the diamond apple uses a potion and it's hard to put 2 effects on something. There might be a way to fix this.

Yeah, adding more uses for diamonds sounds good, how about a diamond fishing rod to fish lava fish in lava. Lava fish can be crafted to make 2 lava fish scales which can be used to make fire chain armour (looks like normal chain armour but red). Same defence as diamond but protects from lava.

animal spawner it will allow any type of animal spawn but no mobs will spawn
IDEA 2: protection shield anything that goes within the radius of 50 the player will be able to passthough it though
The diamond apples are way to cheap, I suggest only giving one diamond apple instead of 3. Make it so that the diamond apple will speed up the health generation by 75% in the next 20 seconds.
I think it should craft 2 because it does take a while to eat.
- Download the mod
- Install it like any other mod. Drag and drop the contents of it's .zip file into your minecraft.jar and delete META-INF
- It requires ModLoader. Don't forget that.

FREAKING AWESOME. Will be added. It will have to take a lot of redstone to make though because it's so common.
