I've been tinkering around with Techne lately and decided I would give the "fox/wolf" tail a try?
Now I've never used Techne before and the skin/texture mapping may be all off for what I'd like it to do or be capable of... But here's the model none the less...

I cannot for the life of me get this mod to work, i have mod loader and got the newest version of more player models but its giving me this crash error, or does not show the new parts for the model

When I go to download MPM it still says that it is the 1.5.1 version. And when I go to run minecraft, i get an error report similiar to the one discussed above, although mine says the problem is with ModLoader. Now ModLoader says it is 1.5.2, but MPM says 1.5.1.

Actually, I have encountered another problem. While in game using MPM, everyone appears tiny-I'm guessing the child skin. Even my own skin is a child. I'm not sure if I'm the only one but just letting you know of this potential issue.
Awesome looking mod. I don't know if it's been said in this thread over 96 pages, but one request I'll make: Would be possible to make the extra.. "limbs"' sizes adjustable? I only ask this because, well, if you look over at my avatar there, I don't think one can fit that tail design in something two pixels wide. I honestly don't know how that would be done, though..
Why is MPM so broken right now? Please fix it by tomorrow... i miss my skin...

I realize I need to make the bottom fins a lot better, but this is just a preview. The top half of the body, including arms and head is supposed to be the player skin, while the lower half is supposed to be the mermaid tail. However, if this is too hard/impossible to seperate, then it can just have a default mermaid skin.

Doesnt really look like a tail, more like a bees behind.
lol! I never thought of it like that. XD A little hard to do the fluff of tail with squares without adding angled squares to make it smoother, but that makes texturing a little more difficult.
i'll see if i can't try again then, maybe something a little nicer?
