Your skin not showing is because the minecraft skin server is buggy. From time to time everybody is playing as Steve. Got nothing todo with this mod.
gaddamit... yet another non mac based mod. People won't believe it, but its actually EASIER to install mods on a mac than the pc, but people won't stop making it ONLY available if its mod loader or minecraft forge... these just don't work on mac.
Modloader works fine on mac. Just search on youtube install modloader mac and you will get 1000s of videos explaining you how to do that. After that just dump the moreplayermodels.zip in your .minecraft/mods folder.
I installed the mod. I can change my model but I can't dance or sit or lie down or hug. Help?!
Could you provide your .minecraft/modloader.txt. You most likely installed the mod twice once in your minecraft.jar and once in the mods folder, did you?

Whenever I try to use the child model, it defaults to the original skin rather than my own skin (which I know works because it shows up fine on human male).
Basically I'm using the same pixel reference colours as the Stephan skin. And if I manually replace Stephan.png with my own skin, it works. Which is fine for now, but there is a chance I may end up wanting to do multiplayer with this mod using my skin and that model.
Post your skin please

As I'm sure you know 1.4 will add pig riding. Would there be anyway you could make it so when a pig has a saddle on it it changes the model so that it looks more lik a horse?
I'm having the same problem as Arkavile (as posted here)
I installed Forge and Models just fine. However when I change my model to either the wolf, the leopard, or the Naga/Cobra, it "wigs out" and doesn't render anything except parts of the head (and poorly at that). Also, the dwarfs and the child human, don't scale down. Everything else works like a charm.
When I drop the mod directly into the .jar (instead of the mods folder, which results in the above ^^^), everything renders and works well, but takes longer to change. Lastly when I do it this way (.jar file), my friends on my server can't see eachothers' "new" models/skins. From what I was reading, this is a client-side only mod, so they should be able to see the other persons models if it's installed on their computers right? or does it have to be in the mods folder to be SMP?
Other things: I have optifine installed (Ver. HD_U_B4), which could be buggin out the models.
I couldn't find any report for this error (I ran a CMD window in the background and didn't see anything).
Here's photos of the errors:
Here's a wolf:
Dwarf not scaling to correct size:
Cobra:
Thank you for your time and effort in making (and then troubleshooting) this mod. I love it!
Love the mod, but is there any chance of adding a 4 legged model sometime soon?
I've recently started making some Arachnians/Insectiods based off the furry models. If anyone would make models for them I would be more than happy to fix the skins based on it. Also would it be ok to post a couple skins here to show?
Edit: Also, is it possible to show the regular furry ears on a naga? I was thinking protruding eyes on the top of it's head.

Nice idea with the naga eyes. I would like to see your spider skins.

If anyone can figure me out, that person in a genius.
If you can't, you just aren't crazy enough.
Have you ever considered adding an option to have a skirt on the female model? I can really feel it's lack of presence, though I have no idea how a blocky skirt would look like...
Could you make it or would it be too hard/unpleasant?
Hmm....I wonder if anyone has ever suggested a Centaur model. Just came to me a few seconds ago lol. You could use the arms as the first sets of legs (according to the skin file anyways).
I do like this mod quite a bit. I always felt that people should have a bit more to work with in the player model. I would actually like to see this as part of vanilla minecraft honestly.
ok so im getting this mod but one question do others see me as the resized and with ears snouts ect on servers if they dont have the mod? pleasereply quick
Nope, the players without the mod only see the regular areas of the skin, not the additions or resizing from the mod.
When you update to 1.4 (not sure when that will be because modloader isn't updated yet), you should add a villager model, which is identical to the zombie villager model.

Notch promised us an Aether. So it could also take years.

I am ninja'd far too often.
Just wait a bit, it should come out real soon. [represent]
