Why doesn't sitting work in SMP for others who have the mod?
Your client doesnt know if other clients are sitting because clients cant send data to other clients. It needs to go through the server so it would require me to make a server side mod too.

I for one wouldn't mind having elf models clip through blocks. Just a thinner, taller model would be great. Ears shouldn't be needed as they can just be drawn on as they would with a default skin.
Other ideas that could be great:
-fairies (small females with wings, maybe float?)
-goblins (short with big heads, and pointy ears and noses) as seen on RPG Mobs mod http://i.imgur.com/zXTZR.png
I completely agree with Piliow, I think those ideas would be great. Also I was wondering if you could add a Mohawk detail to the outline of how to create the models? As I can not get it looking right.

Yea I should update the mappings. The simon dwarf has a mohawk in the sample skins.

not sure about the other models but I use the furry model and the "hat" section of the skin is on the same plane with the helmets. As a result I get this if I try to wear a helmet.

Because you need to color the pixel at 0x0 the right color to enable the mod for your texture. the 0x1 pixel to enable the furry model in your case and you need to color the pixel at 7x1 the correct color (black is not the right color).

Thanks! That worked a treat. Now I'm running around as a wolf. This is such a cool thing I didn't want to just give up on it.
