Just to thank you for an awesome mod, I would have a request but I think you're probably too busy right now with the new 1.5 update, but it would be fun to have a keyboard shortcut to see a list of all the waypoints like on Rei Minimap (I love your map better now that I've discovered it in FTB Ultimate Pack), its so awesome to see the details of the mobs on the map, you know what is waiting for you outside, not just a tiny red dot that advise you there's danger, you know if a creeper is nearby so if you're hunting skeletons you can look for them on the map,
Oh yay, a version not needing lite loader! Thanks for making, and updating this to 1.5 so promptly. Rei's is updated but incompatible with a few of the other updated mods, and your version seems less intensive on the system.
Alongside Forge I found it really slowed the system down. I tested to see if it was just a particular liteloader mod, but it did the same thing with just liteloader and nothing else. Maybe if I had fewer mods it wouldn't have been as noticeable. I wish I could offer more details for you, but I yanked them back out too quickly to have many.
Concerning voxelmap for 1.5. First-time use. I state a FileNotFoundException about a file "color.png". The error does not crash the game, seems to be an ugly info.

Zan's Minimap uses the texture pack's map image for the squaremap. You'd have to edit the texture pack's image.
the VoxelMap version (a special version for the VoxelModpack and FeedTheBeast pack) has skinnable squaremap as well as roundmap. You could use that http://www.mediafire...v796ragakom1s66 Requires LiteLoader and is only for 1.4.7 so far

I've noticed 0 performance degradation with it installed, so I'm sort of at a loss why it's disliked by some. It's far less invasive than modloader or forge and less likely to conflict with stuff. That said, one could take out the LiteModVoxelMap.class and put in the mod_ZanMinimap.class from the modloader version and hey presto now it uses modloader (don't mix minecraft versions though)
Many have to use forge for mods since most mainstream mods use forge, and more are using it every day. So using liteloader is a secondary loader. Liteloader really does impact performance for some though. It definitely did with my setup.
I'm sure liteloader is great for people who only want to use voxel mods.
WOW this is best mini map iv seen for a while, i use to use rei's minimap but this is much better, it displays the nether as well as much more, thumbs up

I'd really like this for 1.4.7, but I'm not sure where I'd download the 1.4.7 forge version.. I did download the liteloader version so I could swap out the class, but I'd need the mod_ZanMinimap.class to put in, which I can't find anywhere
1.5 bug:
If I die in the nether the coordinates for latests death are wrong. The minimap uses the equivalent topside coordinates in the nether, which I find a bit odd and inconvenient, but the death waypoint is in actual nether coordinates. I was unable to find my way back to my stuff till I multiplied the death coordinates (x8) to match the topside coordinates the map uses. Great mod otherwise, Thanks
note: I'd love to be able to see the actual nether coordinates below the minimap when in the nether instead of topside coordinates.
Keep up the good work...
but what is it you don't like about liteloader?

Ugh... thats unfortunate. I hate Liteloader.

I read your bug report but it didn't work
