I already have the current version. I tried downloading it twice in case the first download was corrupted, but it produced the same error.
I said that when I did because I had uploaded a new version 5 minutes before. If you "already had it" then you didn't have the new version I was trying to tell you to get. People on PMC who had that error confirm that it is fixed with this version.
I have the VoxelMap installed and I have a suggestion for it.
So I finally got around to getting some horses today, which was a chore as there were no appropriate biomes anywhere near me, but I found that when mounted you can't teleport to waypoints. The mod doesn't crash, it handles it gracefully, which is good, but it would be really great if we could teleport while riding a horse. I also noticed that if you have a tamed creature following you it also does not teleport when the player does. It would be great if those did too.
That said, this might not be within the boundaries of VoxelMap given that it might need to be a change to how default teleporting works. Let me know if you have any insight into this.
not sure if I can do anything about tamed creatures following. They are supposed to TP automatically when the player they are following is far away, however he got there. if they don't.. not sure what to do about them.
Can probably make it work while mounted though! Never would have known that's a problem, thanks for reporting it
that's just a backup, for when people delete profiles. The points are also stored in the profile directory (did you look there?)
They are still stored in .minecraft as well, so people don't lose waypoints when they delete a profile, or in case they access the same server using different modpacks (the mod coordinates between the profile stored waypoints and the .minecraft stored waypoints and keeps both up to date - and either can be deleted without the waypoints being lost: it will be recreated from the other copy)
anyway yeah, it's more intended for MP, but I don't see any compelling reason to not do it for SP. The backup points files in .minecraft keep maps in different packs but with the same name separate anyway
tl;dr SP waypoints aren't global like you are worrying about (except ones created long ago, before profiles existed), but MP ones are, as they should be.
If you have an actual use case where there is behavior you don't like, tell me about it. Otherwise don't worry where stuff is stored.

No no, my bad, I thought you meant the new version of minecraft sorryAnyway, it works now, thanks Sorry
I try to add this to my server but it crashes, is it not suppose to be used in a server or am i doing something wrong? It works for me on single player by the way so I am not sure what is happening.
motion tracker updated to 1.6.4. Also Forge/Modloader-ized. Menu key configurable in Minecraft settings screen. Also won't get super tiny if you set GUI size to small or whatever.

Yeah you have it right. Someone else posted the same crash on PMC and I uploaded a fixed version there. Download again, should be fixed. Appreciate the crashlog!
How can i make my mod shows villegers chat messages in your chat bubbles?
Ooh interesting question.
Chatbubbles works by parsing chat lines received from the server, and trying to figure out which bit of it is the player's name. It then looks for nearby player entities, and if one of them has a name that matches a line, that line is sent to the player's (custom) renderer to be drawn.
So the only way for this to work (without any changes to chatbubbles) would be if what the villagers say gets sent out over chat, and if the villager entities are instances of OtherPlayerMP, and have a name that can be matched to the line they sent.
For chatbubbles to work for your villagers, they'd need a name (or some identifier) that's included with the messatge sent over chat, or barring chat, would probably have to be something with packets.
For display, if they are vanilla villagers (or custom I guess) I'd need to create a renderer that extends their current renderer to draw the bubbles then hand off to their renderer for the rest. If they are your own unique entity type with their own renderer, another possibility would be to include the bubble rendering code in their renderer directly.
Either way they'd need to compile against the base chatbubbles class (or a stub) to be able to query it for relevant lines at run time.
it's seems that right now your map is not compatible with thaumcraft sadly because it's the best map I've ever tested
be more specific please. The map and Thaumcraft have worked together fine in various FTB packs (and are working fine together on my computer right now). If they don't now, it's a regression and I wouldn't mind fixing it, but there's absolutely no way I can do so without any info (like a crashlog)
If I had to guess though, you are getting a VoxelProtectedFieldsHelper (related to Thaumcraft's Angry Zombies). As I've posted a couple times on this page already, that's been fixed. Download the map again

Yes sorry for the lack of information, to be fair I,ve been told that some of the bug were coming from map like Rei's and your's for showing the entity, it's may be not what is happening to me but when I change dimmension using a mystcraft portal I get a crash, like I said maybe isn't you're mod maybe it's only the fault of azanor there's the crash I get. The thing is I doN,t know why it would crash in this world there's nothing that could crash the client, to be precise in this world the block would be apiary clear glass bed ae stuff ic2 power and bc power else it would be entity from thaumcraft and other mod , also the fact is I,ve travalled using a book (from myst) to the nether and it didn,t crash so I don,t know if it's only using mystcraft portal, anyways it's seems to give a thaumcraft error and I saw that map were using the old api of thaumcraft I tought maybe is the problem.

this is the crash http://pastebin.com/...Hope I've been precise enoguht and sorry for my english
thanks for getting back to me. That crashlog doesn't mention any of my classes (in the portion talking about the crash) so I am fairly sure it has nothing to do with the map.
The map doesn't affect any blocks, it only reads them. If the map ever does cause a crash it will be within the map's code (or originating from it). If there is a crash elsewhere, it can safely be said that the map didn't do it!

Anyone got a link to a 1.5.2 version of the no void fog/no dimming mod?

this has nothing to do with the block you are holding. It's an error that snuck in to custom mob icon creation. See my reply to homem_makako below \/
Yeah you have it right. Someone else posted the same crash on PMC and I uploaded a fixed version there. Download again, should be fixed. Appreciate the crashlog!
Current Progress on Digicraft Texturepack, Vanilla - 100%
If I had to guess though, you are getting a VoxelProtectedFieldsHelper (related to Thaumcraft's Angry Zombies). As I've posted a couple times on this page already, that's been fixed. Download the map again
Yes sorry for the lack of information, to be fair I,ve been told that some of the bug were coming from map like Rei's and your's for showing the entity, it's may be not what is happening to me but when I change dimmension using a mystcraft portal I get a crash, like I said maybe isn't you're mod maybe it's only the fault of azanor there's the crash I get. The thing is I doN,t know why it would crash in this world there's nothing that could crash the client, to be precise in this world the block would be apiary clear glass bed ae stuff ic2 power and bc power else it would be entity from thaumcraft and other mod , also the fact is I,ve travalled using a book (from myst) to the nether and it didn,t crash so I don,t know if it's only using mystcraft portal, anyways it's seems to give a thaumcraft error and I saw that map were using the old api of thaumcraft I tought maybe is the problem.
this is the crash http://pastebin.com/uUScWwZ8
Hope I've been precise enoguht and sorry for my english
The map doesn't affect any blocks, it only reads them. If the map ever does cause a crash it will be within the map's code (or originating from it). If there is a crash elsewhere, it can safely be said that the map didn't do it!
