I never used this mod as I am using Xaero's Minimap, which has this functionality built in. Xaero updates his Minimap quite regularly.
I'll look at TreeCapitator and see what I can do (can't promise anything; I noticed the same behavior as stated in my post).
In the meantime, here's the last of the bspkrs' mods I planned to compile and update. It's the StatusEffectHUD for MC 1.10.2 from TealNerd with my additional updates for MC 1.11:

Umm... So I'm installing this mod on 1.6.4 for a personal modpack to play with buds... For some reason whenever I start the game it says I need
bspkrscore:any
The problem is I DO have it installed. And another problem is it doens't really provide a log.
Any help is appreciated.
Running windows 10, don't know if that's an issue. Also, it's not the first time this has happened, I think it also happened on 1.7.2 for me.

Well, a recompile (but no changes) is needed, which I've already done, but didn't publish, because there's no official release of Forge for 1.11.2 yet.
If you are brave enough , you can try them, if you want. You'll need Forge 13.20.0.2214 or higher.
After some requests for 1.8.9 (and because I also use one older 1.8.9 server from time to time ) I've released bspkrs' mods for 1.8.9 and updated the other versions to latest Forge. Here are the links to these latest versions and their requirements, all together:
bspkrsCore for each MC/Forge version is included in each of the zips and is required for any of the mods to work.
Source code for all updates is available on Github (follow clones from original bspkrsCore).
