Whenever I try to run forge with all 4 of these mods (ArmorStatusHUD, DirectionHUD, bspkrscore, and StatusEffectHUD), plus Damage Indicators, ItemPhysic Lite, Optifine, Soundfilters, and Xaeros Minimap all on the 1.8 version, i get a grey screen with white boxes.
sooo wat? This crash only occurred once I installed your mods.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A double resolution textureresource pack that stays faithful to the original Minecraft textures.
First, thanks for the work you put into these mods; I use the armor and status HUDs whenever possible, it makes things much easier and I don't run around not realizing my armor is broken.
I'm having an issue when I use your mods, however, causing another mod to not function properly. Currently, I can have Mine Little Pony, Thaumcraft, or bspkrCore mods, pick 2 of 3. With the latest version of bspkrCore (6.15), Mine Little Pony does not apply the skin to the player model in-game, but does in the skin menu, and still alters mobs properly. If I downgrade the version of bspkrCore to 6.12 (the one that doesn't load the player skin in the menu, just the Steve skin), Mine Little Pony works, and I assume the dependant mods work as well, though I didn't test them. To make sure it was the bspkrCore mod causing the issue, I tried with nothing but it and Mine Little Pony loaded (Not even the other bspkr mods), and it still had the problem. I'd be okay just turning off auto-update and running the 6.12 version, however, Thaumcraft has something called CB Deploader built in, which automatically updates bspkrCore to the latest version (regardless of the settings for the bspkrCore config).
http://pastebin.com/XcFN5T9b Here's the log file from when I load everything together, though I don't know if it will help since it isn't a crash.
I originally posted this last night, but the post appears to have been eaten or something; I didn't get any notification or warning regarding its deletion. Sorry if this isn't something I should post here; I'm also going to try on Thaumcraft's thread to see if there's some way to turn off the deploader.
What launcher are you using? The player skin reverting to Steve was an issue with the Mojang AuthLib and should be working fine if you have the latest version of that library.
1.5.3, the normal Minecraft launcher. If it makes a difference, running forge 1236 and liteloader 1.7.10-04 on minecraft version 1.7.10. Changing nothing else, the steve skin shows on core mod version 6.12, but not any of the later ones, and MineLittlePony works on 6.12, but not the later ones, as well, which is why I figured that particular component of the coremod might be related to the issue. MineLittlePony loads skins from a custom server, and having tested it more with my brother, it loads other player's skins from that server, just not my own.
Dark necromancy activated!
I'm back after not playing for a while, and most of the mods I like to use are still not fully updated for 1.8, so I decided to do 1.7.10 some more and update my mods; looks like I'm still having the issue I brought up before, although I'm on the 1.6.44 version of the launcher, and forge 1614 now (same version of LiteLoader as before).
Interestingly, I can get things working to an extent with a horrible amateurish hack (I copied ClientProxy.class and BSMainMenuRenderTicker.class from the version 6.12 .jar file bspkrscore to the 6.16 .jar file), but it throws constant errors in the main menu and lags (Entirely on me, I know!) I doubt the errors are relevant, but if it helps, it's giving this:

multiple times per second, and there are no mob/player models on the main screen. Is it just a lost cause to try to get this working with MineLittlePony on the current version without me doing sinful things to your beautiful work? It's okay, you can tell me to just shut up on this, but it'd be cool if there is a fix or I discovered unintended consequences of the cool menu render.
I was wondering, is there a way to make your hotbar opaque all the time? As it stands if I select an empty slot my hotbar turns transparent making it hard to see w i have to scroll to.

WORKAROUND EXAMPLE(Set everything to false in bspkrsCore.cfg)
# Configuration file

# general
#--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------#
# ATTENTION: Editing this file manually is no longer necessary.
# On the Mods list screen select the entry for bspkrsCore, then click the Config button to modify these settings.
##########################################################################################################
general {
# Set to true to allow checking for updates for ALL of my mods, false to disable. [default: true]
B:allowUpdateCheck=false
# The timeout in milliseconds for the version update check. [range: 100 ~ 30000, default: 3000]
I:updateTimeoutMilliseconds=100
# [default: false]
B:allowDebugOutput=false
# When true a file called UniqueNames.txt will be generated in the config folder for convenience. The names found in the file are the string representation of blocks and items in Minecraft. Mods such as Treecapitator and StartingInventory use them in their config files since IDs are gone. [default: true]
B:generateUniqueNamesFile=false
# Set to true to show your logged-in player and a random mob on the main menu, false to disable. [default: true]
B:showMainMenuMobs=false
}
ANOTHER WORKAROUND
One other workaround is to use his older versions of bspkrsCore. However, some mods will not work in 1.7.10 with these older versions (StatusHUD for example)
bspkrsCore Change Log;
6.14 - 05-Aug-2014
- better error handling for main menu entity rendering
- better entity render support for mods
6.13 - 04-Jul-2014
- fixed main menu player skins
- fixed small bug in version checker
I'm going to post this in the bspkrs & Biome Bundle Threads as others might find it helpful there too.
hello bspkrs I would like to use treecapitator and armor status for my moodpack can I do it plz reply
you should read the post before asking if you can use the mod in a modpack. most posts tell you at bottom

It is very sad to see one of the best modders in Minecraft is no longer updating mods. It's been more than a year since the core files were updated, right?
For those of you, who can't wait any longer, I've updated the bspkrsCore and ArmorStatusHUD for MC 1.10.2 and Forge 12.18.1.2011 (based on the previous updates from Lunatrius and BlueAnanas). They are available for download here:
Whenever I try to run forge with all 4 of these mods (ArmorStatusHUD, DirectionHUD, bspkrscore, and StatusEffectHUD), plus Damage Indicators, ItemPhysic Lite, Optifine, Soundfilters, and Xaeros Minimap all on the 1.8 version, i get a grey screen with white boxes.
sooo wat? This crash only occurred once I installed your mods.
Previous conversation so you don't have to dig:
Dark necromancy activated!
I'm back after not playing for a while, and most of the mods I like to use are still not fully updated for 1.8, so I decided to do 1.7.10 some more and update my mods; looks like I'm still having the issue I brought up before, although I'm on the 1.6.44 version of the launcher, and forge 1614 now (same version of LiteLoader as before).
Interestingly, I can get things working to an extent with a horrible amateurish hack (I copied ClientProxy.class and BSMainMenuRenderTicker.class from the version 6.12 .jar file bspkrscore to the 6.16 .jar file), but it throws constant errors in the main menu and lags (Entirely on me, I know!) CONFLICT
bsspkrs' mods ( ArmorStatusHUD, DirectionHUD, StatusEffectHUD & DaftPVF's Mods ( Treecapitator, CrystalWing, StartingInv, FloatingRuins ) require bspkrsCore. BspkrsCore.cfg
appears to have some settings in it that cause the world to crash just after Terrain Control gets done generating the world.
WORKAROUND EXAMPLE(Set everything to false in bspkrsCore.cfg)
# Configuration file
##########################################################################################################
# general
#--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------#
# ATTENTION: Editing this file manually is no longer necessary.
# On the Mods list screen select the entry for bspkrsCore, then click the Config button to modify these settings.
##########################################################################################################
general {
# Set to true to allow checking for updates for ALL of my mods, false to disable. [default: true]
B:allowUpdateCheck=false
# The timeout in milliseconds for the version update check. [range: 100 ~ 30000, default: 3000]
I:updateTimeoutMilliseconds=100
# [default: false]
B:allowDebugOutput=false
# When true a file called UniqueNames.txt will be generated in the config folder for convenience. The names found in the file are the string representation of blocks and items in Minecraft. Mods such as Treecapitator and StartingInventory use them in their config files since IDs are gone. [default: true]
B:generateUniqueNamesFile=false
# Set to true to show your logged-in player and a random mob on the main menu, false to disable. [default: true]
B:showMainMenuMobs=false
}
ANOTHER WORKAROUND
One other workaround is to use his older versions of bspkrsCore. However, some mods will not work in 1.7.10 with these older versions (StatusHUD for example)
[1.7.10]bspkrsCore-universal-6.12.jar.
[1.7.10]bspkrsCore-universal-6.13.jar.
CHANGE LOG
The problem starts with bspkrsCore version 6.14
bspkrsCore Change Log;
6.14 - 05-Aug-2014
- better error handling for main menu entity rendering
- better entity render support for mods
6.13 - 04-Jul-2014
- fixed main menu player skins
- fixed small bug in version checker
I'm going to post this in the bspkrs & Biome Bundle Threads as others might find it helpful there too.
Thanks,

How do I install any of this for 1.10 without Forge?
i downloaded everything and when I loaded it it crashed, let me note I did donwload the bspkrs core mod but it still crashes
It is very sad to see one of the best modders in Minecraft is no longer updating mods. It's been more than a year since the core files were updated, right?
Official PermissionsEx Troubleshooter
For those of you, who can't wait any longer, I've updated the bspkrsCore and ArmorStatusHUD for MC 1.10.2 and Forge 12.18.1.2011 (based on the previous updates from Lunatrius and BlueAnanas). They are available for download here:
