This is a brand-new, work-in-progress mod; you can assume for the time being that I'm reading everything
I certainly don't plan on implementing everybody's suggestions, though.
Regarding jumping: I like having the standard movement physics allow tiny players (and mobs! don't forget them!) to climb a simple one-block slope, and the one-block jumps are part of that. I also like having physics work not quite the way you expect based on what you "see" - both awesome and annoying.
The classic essay "On Being the Right Size" mentions a number of the ideas that I used when devising how things would work differently in Gulliver. Sure, the main idea is that very large and very small people are not technically possible in reality. But I did use the principles when making adjustments, while still trying to have the game mechanics be reasonably balanced.
Though, some other kinds of jumping and moving would work nicely in a "Smart Moving (Gulliver Edition)" mod I'll see about using some suggestions in that fashion.
Something I noticed when playing around with this mod (awesome mod btw) is that when you are shrunken and skeletons are trying to shoot you, they aim where your upper body would be if you were regular sized instead of actually at you.
Used the stick to grow the Giant Giant boss mob earlier. (Google it if you want to try it yourself)
And it made him so, SO VERY TALL, and he 1 hit you with a full set of Diamond on. Loved it.
My game slowed down before I could fight him further, but... dear god he was huge.
Hm, all Potions in Minecraft have the same Item ID, they just vary in their "damage" value. I used the two potion slots normally named "Bungling Potion" (seemed fitting), those have "potion_name" damage values 22 and 23. Then you add 64 if extended duration, and then 16384 if a splash potion or 8192 if not a splash potion.
I don't see anything in the ModLoader javadoc about adding Potion recipes... has anyone else been able to add potion recipes in mods using the Minecraft potion system? I'll need to figure out how to tell TMI about them.

This is still just work in progress, but maybe I should go get an adfly account already...
Yeah, I think you're right about that...
Where's the slashdotting coming from, guys?
Can you make an alternate for 1.2.4?
Done, just stemmed the larger flow first.
