So it's because you find it disgusting?
Mission accomplished
Tell your friends about the mod, I guess. I get a bit of kickback from the adfly links if nothing else.
(Unless maybe you happen to have some leads on software programming work?
That you want to munch mobs? Yeah, that's pretty creepy
Now, swallowing very tiny mobs whole wouldn't be too bad, but they'd need to be a lot smaller than you (bite size, essentially) for that to make sense, and then they'd be a lot harder to catch. All in all, it's much easier to get meat just by stepping on animals and "picking up" their item drops.
Wow. I've heard that when playing golf you should always remember to "be the ball", but that's taking it pretty literally
The glitching sounds a lot like what happens when being carried by a larger player, and definitely something I want to take care of for the next release, along with getting suffocated too easily when trapped by an arrow.
Pretty scary about getting William Tell'd again. It must've been shooting at your friend and just ended up hitting you instead, since Skeletons don't see you when you're that small. (...Or do they?)
You mean, would tiny players get trapped by webs the same way they get caught by an arrow? No, you still move and fall through web blocks, just very very very slowly. Arrows are a lot tougher to break free of.
Gunpowder Smoke bombs (When Shrunken), for fun, and EVIL! And for blinding baby chickens.
MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA!
yeah the only reason i could think the arrow wasnt full power was because i was in a cave so it could have nudged a block
and are you saying that if i download this mods several times even though i have it i could basically donate?
wanna play with me? give me a pm
EDIT: The owner of said mod removed the download for the 1.2.5 version. Anyway, I have a problem: I am blackscreening on Minecraft(v. 1.2.5). Help?
Mods installed(in order): Modloader, TooManyItems, Gulliver, Little Blocks and Clay Soldiers
And yes, I deleted META-INF. I added all mods into minecraft.jar
Alright...but what about YOU(as in the player) getting eaten? Sorry, I kinda like vore
I don't think they belong as options in the vanilla beacon GUI, same as a lot of other potion effects, buuuut you can hack them into a beacon with some sort of world editor: use effect 21 for ensmallen and effect 22 for embiggen.
It'd make for a really fun adventure map or server area
I think that's already on my list... if not, I've been meaning to add it
No thanks. It sounds more like a new item to add, and I don't see a good reason why using a gunpowder smoke bomb would be restricted to small players.
Just use the adfly links to download each time there's a new release.
- I haven't tested with MobTalker.
- You need to install ModLoaderMP; the older versions of Little Blocks require it. (Yes, even for singleplayer.) This post tells more about what you need to do and where to download things.
- No, and anybody who wants to snack on other players is welcome to bite me
You can already use the /basesizeadjust command to do that. "/basesizeadjust 0.9" will make your base size 0.9 of what it was before, the same as if you removed 0.1 of your base size. "/basesizeadjust 1.1" would add 10% to your size, "/basesizeadjust 0.7" would remove 30%.
You'd almost think this mod was a plot to get kids to learn math
One thing I've found to be problematic without Bukkit, is not being able to give people /kick and /ban power, without giving them /gamemode and /give power, as well as the /basesize command.
Would it be asking too much for you to add a couple lines of code to make it so that an admin can make groups of players, like in Bukkit? I think this would go great with your mod, since then the admin could assign people to different groups, and each group could have different set base sizes.
So, not only would it allow admins to make certain players have access to extra commands, they could also just use it to make certain groups of players all the same default base size.
Like I said in my reply PM, it'll take more than a couple lines of code
I also would rather not add features like that to Gulliver, since it changes the vanilla server for reasons other than resizing. (But maybe in a secondary mod, like say "Gulliver's Groups"
*facepalm*
* Like right clicking a block with the string while small will add that piece of string to the wall like it is a little ladder... that only the tiny people could use. Could maybe be doable, granted the ensmallend people have a lot of stuff going for them already.
* Maybe gunpowder could be used with the giant sized players, like punching the stuff with it will cause them to break a slightly bigger radius of blocks.
* Maybe things like the Pumpkin/Melon can be used to cover up more of the tiny player when they wear it... As more of a way to not be seen by larger entities (that is if getting to close to them ever causes them to notice you).
Oh, yeah, I agree that munching mobs would be nasty. I was thinking along the lines of swallowing. If it's harder to catch, there could be something to balance it out, such as greater nutrition. Other than balance, it's probably harder to reclaim food from mashed-up remains you stepped on than something already in your hand.
And thanks for telling that I need ModLoaderMP. But I alterady deleted the Minecraft.jar file >.<
I'll set it up when I have the time, because I'm alterady making a new script file for the Slime in MobTalker. Not to mention school.
- String ladders are an interesting idea, but unfortunately placing String is already used for laying Tripwire. (You can walk/climb on that when tiny, by the way.)
- Hmm! But instead of breaking blocks the same way it does when you're punching, it could make a small explosion centered at the block that you hit - like, say, 300-500 millicreepers. It'd also consume one Gunpowder and cause a bit of extra damage to the puncher (hurt your hand!) so that there's some downside to it
- Maybe if someone reskins the Pumpkin to look like a cardboard box
I would probably make the nutritional value of animals be some percentage of the food value of a piece of their raw meat, depending on the animal's size. It's still not a feature I want to add, at least not without a lot more time and thought, and there's other things I'd rather work on.
I understand that there are a lot more important features to be implemented, and I wouldn't want them neglected for this. I just wanted to show support for it in case you consider putting it in later.
