It almost looks like the JVM argument is missing... when you go to Edit Profiles for the profile you are using to run this, can you post here what the argument is? [or better yet, screenshot it?] ^^
I wish I could suggest more, but IANAP [I Am Not A Programmer], so again only Mion or Tarig could comfortably decipher the above.
Hehe, sorry no, I can only help you help yourself.
Let's try this approach... ^^
When you open the New Minecraft Launcher and you select the profile you need to select to play Gulliver Forge AND you click on the button that says Edit Profiles... Can you confirm that it looks the same as the copy of my screen I posted below?

I agree with cia your are missing the -dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe I read before that taking a strength potion will also let you open double chests as a tiny (with a stick, of course). It's a very expensive thing to do, but definitely worth knowing. ^^
Also, glad you managed to get this installed!
Likewise! Glad I was able to help.
Impossible? No.
Wise? Mion figured it wasn't.
I understand the reasoning though... if you're already using that version of Forge on your machine, you don't want to run the risk of borking compatibility with other preexisting mods you may have if it's perfectly avoidable.
Whew. Well, after flying back from Florida yesterday and then having to wait for the DSL Fairy to deliver a working internet connection overnight, I'm back
Mion, have another semi-bug for you. I tried using Optifine myself today out of curiosity (OptiFine_1.6.2_HD_C4, which just goes in the mods folder), and it's currently exhibiting that camera-lock behavior we encountered earlier, whereby the camera doesnt shrink or grow with the player. I don't remember if we fixed that or not, but thought I'd bring it to your attention, regardless. ^^
Unfortunately, even though you can just plop the Optifine jar into the "mods" folder and have it work with Forge and many Forge mods, it completely overrides baseclasses loaded from jars in the "libraries" - including Gulliver's. Great for Forge & Optifine users who need Optifine to be "installed last", not-so-great for any baseclass-editing mods loaded from "libraries"
Upshot is, you'll need to take Optifine out of the "mods" folder, run the Optifine installer to put it under "libraries", then manually edit your Gulliver Forged json file under "versions" to add Optifine to the library list (after Gulliver Forged, before Forge.) Yeah, it complicates things...

Yes, like Cia said, you must be missing the "-Dfml.ignorePatchDiscrepancies=true" in the "JVM Arguments". Your profile should look like that image.
But make sure it's exactly

NUUU~!! Complications! D:

Ah, now that you mention it, that solution DOES sound familiar....
Well, so I guess there may be a new Ciabatta-style guide on the horizon.... XD
Yes, the whitelist application process is currently still the same as Gunia's, so you essentially post an application on either her Minecraft Forum thread, or the Sticky Whitelist thread on her server forum. You already did that and got approved, so welcome aboard. ^^
Can the server be played with gulliver forge or does it absolutely have to be normal gulliver?
lol, I'm assuming you mean our server (and try not to post too many questions about it here, since this is Mion's thread for her mod. ^^;
It can be any version, and in fact I'm promoting the use of Gulliver Forged since it's the easiest to install now, and plus we're expecting to convert the server to Forge shortly (and the more people are already on it, the better). ^^
Alright thanks! I'm going to try to clamp my mouth shut for a few days, I'm talking too much xD
lol, not nearly as much as me. Ever since I came here, I've just been spamming poor Mion's thread.
But yeah, over at our forum, you can post till you drop... in fact I'd like that, since the forum is rarely used anymore (apparently it's not good enough for this crazy generation of Steam-punkers and Skype-heads). XD

Incidentally, I got Optifine working thanks to your instructions Mion!
Thank you so much! I'll create a new installation guide for it too.
Here's another installation guide, this one for Optifine to be used with the latest Gulliver Forged auto-installer method.
Many thanks to Mion who told me how to do this earlier...

You should enter the LB creation contest, who know maybe me or Eury will put your structure in world gen.
OO and LB is open source so if you want to create a worldGen plugin for it Please do.
Heh, cool

The latest version of Gulliver is built against Forge 9.10.1.871, which already has a handy installer. Is that the version giving you trouble? D:

Could it be that parts of little blocks don't work with gulliver. Does anyone know?
