Awesome! Thanks! So glad you are keeping this updated. This mod has become one of my must haves before I update.
On a side note, When building under water, or making large aquariums, the glass blocks have been a problem, since you cant see through them clearly underwater, and I found a way to bypass this problem. I went into my textures file, in my texture pack, and replaced the orange wool block (because, who likes orange anyway?) with a glass block. It behaves like a wool block, but looks just like a glass block, and it doesnt get that annoying collision box around it that regular glass blocks do. Also, if you use it with Pams cotton mod, you can use it to make glass looking half blocks and stairs
Darch you could also use Optifine if you aren't (I'm assuming you aren't because I don't have that issue). Optifine is generally a good idea because it can increase your fps while making your world look that much better.

Ive tried optifine before, but it wasnt compatible with another mod I was using. I havent tried it since.
Right now Im having an issue with this mod and REI's minimap mod. Both mods work fine alone, but the game crashes if I try to have them both. If anyone could decipher this crash report for me, it would be great

Looks great! However some things from the spotlights I noticed..
1. IMO the light they give off is too intence. For a better underwater atmosphere I think toning that done would improve the experiance.
2. They seem to be purely for asthetics. And thats great! But perhaps we could go the way of tree/bee mods and add stats to them and breed coral with differant stats. for example, different colors, or differant effects ect
3. Why isnt this part of vanilla MC? Its been long overdue

Woo! Glad to see this update. Unfortunately I'm having troubles downloading it? Mediafire seems to be working just fine, but the download for your link won't pop up after after clicking the download button. (Even Mediafire's selfrepair seems to not be working.) Although I figure it'd be my luck that it's just a temporary thing, and by the time you see this it will have righted itself...

Awesome mod. I'm a little confused about why the configs are being generated in my applications folder. It creates a folder called mods and a subfolder called coralreef. My other mods put the configs in the .minecraft folder root, or the config/mod folders, so this is very strange. Any idea why this might be happening?

It should do that if you're running it on a server, not sure why it would happen if playing Minecraft normally.
EDIT: This was an error on my part - I have fixed it in the second release of Coral Reef 1.5.1.

One request for the future: Could you put some kind of Coral Density value in the config so that people with performance issues can decrease the amount of coral that spawns?

There is a setting for that - just press 'C" while in-game to bring the settings up.

There seems to be a weird issue with the Underground Biomes mod and Coral Reefs... It seems that something about the Coral Reefs mod is causing Underground Biomes to fail to replace vanilla stone in some chunks. Could you please take a look at the Underground Biomes thread and see if you can address the issue? Exterminator Jeff suggested that it likely had something to do with the Biome decoration event hooks in your mod.

Any ideas why the textures aren't able to be replaced with HD ones? Are the textures loading too late in the initialization process or something?

Any plans on adding some coral sea creatures?
I'm guessing this isn't compatible with 1.5.1? (I haven't found any 1.5 mods that do work on 1.5.1)
They're simply stored in a different place now - so any existing texture replacements no longer work.
No, it's not. There are a few minor issues I want to fix up before releasing a 1.5.1 version.
I miss XCommands...
It is one of my favorites. Definitely in my to 10.
Also wanted to give another super big thanks to Q3Hardcore for keeping it alive, and allowing it in AMCO.
