1.4.7 and 1.4.6 are the same tho? 1.4.6 works with 1.4.7. i would no im running this on 1.4.7 now and ive had no trouble with it, even using ars magica that hates world gen mods
the first one - Is that you said you removed the GUI but its still there. Can you please remove it for real this time? The gui is buggy and it has no place in SMP
the second
When I add this mod into my mods folder. I get some BS error about agb.class
hey everyone! is this ported to bukkit? or is it planned to have a bukkit port? it would be a shame to lose the pretty coral when our server switches to bukkit, vanilla servers lag to much with my world.
After reading the thread about how boring the new world gen was and how ugly water bed look i've realize that with this mod it look amazing. It's like a web of coral !
It seems Mojang did just half the job, we need coral underwater =D

I downloaded the newest coral mod and added it to Feed the Beast (Direwolf20 Pack v4; MC 1.4.6), it doesn't crash FTB, but I have yet to see any coral spawn in my new Mystcraft ocean world. Is any incompatibility with FTB known?

I'd recommend opening up the settings for Coral Reef and turning off 'Ocean Only'.
This should make it work, but if you go to play a normal world, change it back.
Great mod IT truly is something that is needed for MC.
I have an ID conflict though.
176
I don't see a config file for the coral mod.
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Slot 176 is already occupied by amz@71eb0d31 when adding nandonalt.CoralMod.BlockCoral@7eaf4664
It is with Metal Rods mod
Well for now, it looks like metal Rods is OUT OF THERE.
have to use this awesome mod.
Thanks
You'll be able to find the config for Coral Reef in your 'mods' folder.
Although you probably wouldn't want to change the IDs for it,
since it will remove the coral on any worlds already generated.
So, if you want to use the Metal Rods mod, see if it has a config file to edit.

I <3 you dude. You are friggin epic! This and Mo' Creatures are by far my favorite MC mods, and they compliment each other so very well.
Also, as to the crashing when creating new worlds: I've noticed that if the world is mostly a water world, it will sometimes crash on world gen. When I open it back up, it plays just fine. I've tried it with just the above two mods, and it's happened on almost all of the ocean biome spawns. Not a big deal at all, but I just wanted to point out that the other dude isn't the only one that's had it happen.

Can you post the crashlog? (make sure to use 'spoiler'). Thanks.
I'm wondering if I'm using the wrong keywords to search, am not finding any info on whether or not the most recent versions let you plant coral underwater (like you would a cactus)? It's been a while.

As long as you're planting them on reef blocks, should work fine.

Oh my great minecraft creepers, thank you so much for having the source up!!! I'm currently making a mod with an underwater dimension (Sorry, can't give details for now), and i've been having problems with the plants. I've been looking everywhere for how to male the plants and water take up the same space, but couldn't find it. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!
New features:
* /coralmod command - use to change settings ('/coralmod settings' lists settings)
Known issues:
* Texture packs will not replace coral textures
* Some types of coral can be placed on the green coral
Awesome! Thanks! So glad you are keeping this updated. This mod has become one of my must haves before I update.
On a side note, When building under water, or making large aquariums, the glass blocks have been a problem, since you cant see through them clearly underwater, and I found a way to bypass this problem. I went into my textures file, in my texture pack, and replaced the orange wool block (because, who likes orange anyway?) with a glass block. It behaves like a wool block, but looks just like a glass block, and it doesnt get that annoying collision box around it that regular glass blocks do. Also, if you use it with Pams cotton mod, you can use it to make glass looking half blocks and stairs
