Ok I'm seeing at least 2 bugs from last release I need to revisit
1) Klein Stars no longer going into the Transmutation Table as input, and
2) Condensers seem to be bugging out when broken
I have to go shop for some cabinets this morning, but I'll be back on the case after 3pm EST. In the meantime You can revert back to 1.4.1.3 here

Speaking of which, while alchemy bags most certainly do not give you their usual inventory when you're playing without an actual internet connection somewhere, a user name typed into the pirated MinecraftSP launcher actually seems to work
Don't have a clue what that thing was doing on the computer server at my high school, but I figured I copy it off for myself back then, since I couldn't quite pay for minecraft yet (at least Notch doesn't mind, apparently). Now it has a use

Hey Pahimar, I was wondering if you could implement a book that had all of the EMCs of every item? It would come in handy if you wanted to make something and see how much stuff you'll have to burn/collect.
Thanks!
That's a good suggestion. Although it'd probably be a pain to implement.
@Ghosthacker Your game build is almost identical to mine except for the use of ID resolver.
I don't use it because its know to cause problems. If upgrading to forge doesn't fix your problem you might consider dumping ID resolver. You can always enable auto ID in redpower. That should kill your id conflicts without using id resolver. Why use ID resolver if it causes conflict. Its too easy to edit a mods config file and change the ID yourself.
ID resolver's like marrying a pretty girl that's packin way to much baggage. I just don't need the grief no matter how good she looks

There IS an item that does that, it's called the alchemical tome...
i was considering adding this mod to our community server but hit a slight hiccup. our server is a bukkit 1.1R4, the version on MC port central is 1.38. so i went to the good offical thread @ "http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/364525-123-equivalent-exchange-2-v1403-smp/" and the 1.38 client link ends up at a dropbox 404.. when coming to this thread it starts at 1.39!... anyone able to assit
That thread is no longer "good" because it doesn't have current versions. 1.38 is no longer available mostly because of massive bugs that existed at the time. If you really need a copy of 1.38 I do have a backup of the client version only however, so PM me and I'll set you up if you ABSOLUTELY need it. I highly recommend updating to 1.2.3 however since Bukkit has also updated to 1.2.3.
Edit: if you ABSOLUTELY need a copy of the client version of EE2 v1.38 for MC 1.1 you can get it here.
I suppose the things that aren't fixed yet i just deem more useful to me than the ones you have fixed already. No fault to you. Perhaps I got the wrong impression because the suggestion and update site you link to is a bit confusing.
I'm sorry you feel that way, and I understand your frustration, however I will always deem bugs that either 1) crash clients/servers, 2) cause people to lose items that they should not lose, or 3) exploits that cause inappropriate gains as more important than items where the majority of the functionality works but some things aren't as intuitive. When faced with the Ignition Ring projectile not catching things on fire, or people losing enchantments in their chests or losing items in the Transmutation Table that they are attempting to see if they can learn; yeah, I'm going to pick the other stuff and not the ring to fix first. And I hope that the majority of the community appreciates me fixing the more game breaking bugs first than the more "flavorful" ones.
Also, as stated in the OP, that site is for MY benefit predominately and I am trying an experiment in showing the community what my list is and how things are laid out. I don't expect you to understand the site. I don't expect you to find it intuitive. It's for me, and I'm being nice and showing everyone what I'm working on. Take it or leave it but don't expect me to care when you complain you don't like it, because frankly I care about this '' much about what you think of it. The majority of the community has actually really enjoyed seeing it - you are the first person to criticize it.
I apologize if I am coming across as hostile, but from your posts in the previous few pages you have (from my perspective) come across as nitpicky and narrow minded when it comes to what you expect from this mod. That is your opinion and I applaud you expressing it, but understand that this is likely the last I will communicate directly with you regarding your concerns because I have bigger and more important things to do than consistently answer to someone on here that is questioning my abilities because they wish I would fix their bugs first over the others that are still in the mod.
updating to 1.2.3 will still be a long way off yet as our server has a long list of mods that i would obviously need a 1.2.3 bukkit version of.
thanks for the link though
I had to re-read your post the first time, and realized "Yeah, they probably haven't updated because they have ports that haven't updated" hence me putting up the link. Just understand that there are some big bugs in the 1.38 version that are fixed in later versions so I recommend updating asap
i am not sure if this has been said but didn't see it
i was playing on my house server with EE buildcraft and industrialcraft
when i went to put my things in my chest minecraft crashed when i reloaded it some of the EE textures were where the landscape in the background.
is it normal?
It's a vanilla server (1.2.3) with Equivalent Exchange 1.4.1.3 and Forge 1.4.1.59 only.
It's so when somebody put things in it that the Transmutation Table don't update (EMC still 0).
Thats makes impossible to use the Table.
But only in the Nether, Overworld works fine.
EDIT:
Screenshot of the Bug:
Verified it myself. The other two bugs from the previous page are fixed but this one is new to me. Wonder how long it's been around.
Anyways, I'm on it. Once I fix this one then I'll release 1.4.1.5

Alright, this particular bug is actually a fairly complex one. It has to deal with how things are stored on the server and referenced, to state it very basically. After the update the MC 1.2.4 I have been planning a "refactor" (complete re-write) of the code so as to fix a lot of things in one swoop and add in a bunch of nice features as well (no new items/etc though). I'm doing this after the update because I'm sure many of you would like to play MC 1.2.4 as soon as possible and would rather not wait for EE2 to update.
Why I'm saying this is, this is the kind of bug that would best be suited for fixing in the refactor. Most of the remaining bugs in the mod relate to SMP related stuff, and I'm hoping to utilize some new things in Forge to really make this much better. In short, I don't think I can fix this today and since it's not entirely game-breaking (just go back to the Overworld to use your Transmutation Table) I'm going to leave this as an open bug for now. I've spoken with some of the other major authors and they agree this is the best bet for now.
Anyways, sorry guys for the bugs from last night and that I can't lick this one quick. I'll have v1.4.1.5 up shortly with the Klein Star and Condenser bugfixes, and a note in the changelog that this Nether bug is an outstanding and high priority bug for the future.

You have nothing to apologize for. Some of us understand that you are a human being with a life away from this silly game and that you don't insert bugs on purpose. Personally, I think you've been doing a really good job!
Does emc from this mod convert to ic2 energy in any way?
@Pahimar, I tested the obsidian to magma 'bug', it didn't work for me, perhaps it never existed at all..also sent you a PM.
@uiomancan, Yeah Ive had that happen a few times too, just restart the server and it should clear up, if not make sure your EE files are installed correctly.
yo wtf is this ****? All of the sudden items like furnaces and those things that help you look for diamonds are crashing... this is some of the reports i get.
(FYI: all of the ee items were working and now some of them are just crashing, if i put an items in a furnace it just automatically crashes -.-)
also i have version 1.4.0.3.... which idk why that would matter since it was working and now all of the sudden it isn't

I was wondering if there is any way that you could implement the "Slay-Aggro/Slay-All" Function of the "RMSword" and the "Red Katar" into the "Archangle's Smite" so it can be used safley when you have a Dog or Cat Nearby.

That item doesn't show you EMC values - it just teaches you all the transmutes in the mod.
The idea I have for showing EMC values is an addon module for NEI, allowing you to mouseover an item and have it report the EMC value of it.
I need more info than that to be able to help you. I need to know versions of Minecraft and mods, and whether this is a Bukkit server or vanilla.

Thank you
Thanks!
