Hey folks, not sure if this is the right place to put this bug report, but...
I'm using Equivalent Exchange as part of the Technic Pack, and the Gravity Greaves are severely bugged. For one thing, both the red matter greaves AND the gravity greves appear as boots, with the "legs" part of the texture being mapped onto the torso texture. For another, oftentimes when the Gravity Greaves' special ability (the one activated with Shift) is used, Minecraft will suddenly freeze and crash. Via process of testing I've concluded that the problem is most likely the result of an unexpected interaction with the MoCreatures mod, but I was in a Taint (Thaumcraft 2) biome, so there is some possibility of an unexpected cross-interaction there as well.
Any suggestions and help would be most appreciated. ;-)
Also, a small suggestion related solely to Equivalent Exchange: would it be possible for the default state of a crafted Gem of Eternal Density to be "off"? It would really be helpful, as currently I have to make sure I don't have a Klein Star in my inventory, otherwise I lose items whenever I craft a Gem of Eternal Density. ;-)
Since makers of Technic Pack and Tekkit modify the mods they probably have caused that bug, so STOP using Technic Pack and Tekkit.
I'm looking for a little help if at all possible. I'm currently trying to run EE2, but I can't seem to get it to work. I'm not getting any error messages, but it doesn't seem to be, well, starting.
The only two mods I'm using are Forge and EE2. When I open the game, everything starts fine, no problems. I can play, but none of the EE2 modifications are taking place. In fact, when I click the "mods" button at the starting screen, it only shows Forge Mod Loader and Minecraft Forge. No mention of EE2.

You deleted your .minecraft? Are you sure you're still on 1.2.5?
Try MCNostalgia, if you need to get a 1.2.5 jar back. I'm not sure how else I can help.

Oh man, I completely over looked that, I'm sorry. I went back and read the original post and saw that there wasn't a 1.3.2 patch for EE2.
I would really like to bring some attention to a bug that has been reported several times, and has not been responded to. This is the RM/Gem pants issue. It has no effect on gameplay, but come on! This is end-game armor here! This really bothers me especially because I play on an SMP server with this mod, and running around with no pants is kinda strange ... Before you ask, no, this is not Tekkit, all the mods are manually installed. Here's some screenshots of the Gem and RM armor with just the pants and the entire set:
We know. Pahimar knows. He said he really should get to fixing that, but when you think about it if it wasn't for 1.3.2 people would rage. And he's making EE3 for 1.3.2. So that's a no-go.

you dont seems to have EE installed only the custom emc mod
is there a confirmed date (or even general date) on when EE3 will be released?
1.3.x has been out a while, relatively speaking, so i thought there would be a release by now. is there a bunch of things that are being changed or added, or is it that the designers do not have that much time to spend on it?
BTW are there any good mods to use along with EE3 and skytable. Mods that add other items and abilities not cheating mods like TMI. once you can a make redmatter in about 3 min, it gets boring, I used flower power, and left it to go for an entire night and ended up with sooooo much redmatter,
I'd think this new feature would be awesome! You should add it! or Are you adding anything new? Features/items/etc in EE2 are generally "frozen," meaning that unless it is a game breaking bug it's not a high priority for me right now. I am not adding new features to EE2; I am just maintaining it at the moment. All of my development time is currently on EE3 which is a complete rewrite of the mod from the ground up, with lots of rebalancing and changes to items/blocks. Look for more information as the development of EE3 progresses.
When will EE2 (or EE3) be out for MC X.Y.Z? The short answer is when it's ready. Whenever Minecraft has a major release, it takes time for the dependencies that mods have update. When all of those are updated, the modders can update their mods. Depending on the amount of changes it can take some time. Be patient - we're aware the update happened and are very likely very busy working on the update.
Will you update EE2 for MC 1.3.2? I have decided to focus on getting EE3 out for MC 1.3.2 as fast as possible, and then I'll revisit updating EE2 for MC 1.3.2. I strongly believe that EE3 will be more balanced (and hopefully more fun!) than EE2, and I want to get it to you sooner than later.

Two of this mods items and a full set of Red Matter armor came in handy last night in defeating one of the more difficult bosses in Better Dungeons, the Sphinx.
After winding your way through an obsidian maze, there's a trapdoor. Drop through it and you're in his chamber. He starts throwing fireballs at you - these are like the kind the ghasts shoot. They are explosive and can be knocked back at him. The Sphinx is immune to direct attacks, so having an item like Archangel's Smite helps. So does the Volcanite amulet. There is a small lava pool between you and him, but that becomes a much bigger one once he is defeated. In fact the entire chamber floods with it. Red Matter armor and the Volcanite amulets seem to be the only sure fire way to survive a battle with him.

seems like you put EE in the jar it need to be in the mod folder
After winding your way through an obsidian maze, there's a trapdoor. Drop through it and you're in his chamber. He starts throwing fireballs at you - these are like the kind the ghasts shoot. They are explosive and can be knocked back at him. The Sphinx is immune to direct attacks, so having an item like Archangel's Smite helps. So does the Volcanite amulet. There is a small lava pool between you and him, but that becomes a much bigger one once he is defeated. In fact the entire chamber floods with it. Red Matter armor and the Volcanite amulets seem to be the only sure fire way to survive a battle with him.
Just threw the EE in the mod folder, but still getting an error, here it is
