Pahimar, i have to ask: Why are you blocking other flying options? I want to use the Gravitation Suite add-on for IC2 and EE doesn't allow it, Even though your are working in EE3, can you please make this quick fix please? D:

Yes, I'm sure Pahimar and/or x3n0ph0b3 intentionally blocked anything but EE2 from allowing you to fly. Those big meanies.

1: SPOILER TAGS
2: you fail at reading. As mentioned in several places (though someone needs to prod Pahimar to change the tlp) you don't need modloader. *ONLY* forge goes in the jar unless you want NEI.

If you bother reading the dependencies, you will see I already say Forge (and no mention of ModLoader). I shouldn't have to explicitly say what you don't need, only what you do need.
Also re: Gravi Suit, read in the Gravi Suit thread where I explain the situation. I'm not going to continue repeating myself for folks who can't do some research themselves.

It's the only method without extreme amounts of coding. How about you go cry to Graviton suit dev and make him do the extreme amounts of coding. Actually how about you do it for both of them?
Hey, sorry if this is too much trouble, or if ee3 has it's own thread, but I was planning on building the source for ee3 from github, for beta testing on it's own MultiMC instance, but I've been having some trouble building. I figured, from the github changelog and name of the file that build.xml must be the buildscript. After marking it as executable, I found it errored out. Looking inside build.xml, I found references to Windows 7. Would it be correct to say that this is the cause of my issues, the buildscript being Windows only? I'm running Ubuntu Linux, and I don't have easy access to a Windows PC. Would it fix anything if I changed cmd to /bin/sh in build.xml and Windows 7 to Linux/Ubuntu, to reflect the new OS? Don't want to risk breaking further if it won't. Sorry if this is a noob question, I've only compiled anything from source a few times, and thanks in advance.
BoilingOil, rather than answering these types of noobish posts I've taken to just hitting the report button. Then a nice mod comes along and deletes them and we are troubled by them no more. It's the best way, really, for them to learn. (I'm pretty sure they get a warn for the post.)

oh really? I'll just quote this then..
Installation
Client (for Minecraft 1.2.5)
1. Install the required version of ModLoader in to your minecraft.jar
2. Remove META-INF from your minecraft.jar
3. Install the required version of Forge in to you minecraft.jar
4. Put EE2ClientV####.jar in to your /mods folder
5. Load up Minecraft and play!
Hey folks, not sure if this is the right place to put this bug report, but...
I'm using Equivalent Exchange as part of the Technic Pack, and the Gravity Greaves are severely bugged. For one thing, both the red matter greaves AND the gravity greves appear as boots, with the "legs" part of the texture being mapped onto the torso texture. For another, oftentimes when the Gravity Greaves' special ability (the one activated with Shift) is used, Minecraft will suddenly freeze and crash. Via process of testing I've concluded that the problem is most likely the result of an unexpected interaction with the MoCreatures mod, but I was in a Taint (Thaumcraft 2) biome, so there is some possibility of an unexpected cross-interaction there as well.
Any suggestions and help would be most appreciated. ;-)
Also, a small suggestion related solely to Equivalent Exchange: would it be possible for the default state of a crafted Gem of Eternal Density to be "off"? It would really be helpful, as currently I have to make sure I don't have a Klein Star in my inventory, otherwise I lose items whenever I craft a Gem of Eternal Density. ;-)

The solution the majority of people here would provide: Stop using technic pack.
A solution I agree with.

According to this thread, post #7, your forge is in the mods folder, it needs to go in the Jar.
There's a wonderful thing called the search bar. Use it.

not yet but when ee3 is released, it will be open sourced so you can make plugins for it then

It's fun sometimes
Also, I have a feeling an update pesterer would show up once you make a new post.
LoL! I agree with Pahimar. Though I do think that they are fun to read.
