Mailboxes - possibly the single best idea yet, and probably not for the reasons they thought... but think of this in the context of multiplayer. Combined with the notion of having them dimensionally-linked as such - it means you could implement admin messaging that is instantly delivered to all linked mailboxes - it could be a note regarding a new member of a clan, or setting a time for an event, or any one of a raft of things you want people on your server to know; without having to rely on external messaging/emails or waiting til they're online.
Texture Mismatches - this one I'm going to be militant about. ALL mods should be in 16x by default. This is why there is separate options for texture packs in Minecraft. Unless you'd rather the devs create umpteen different versions of the same mod, to cater for whatever random texture size you happen to choose?
Dye removal - forgive me, but why?? Wouldn't it just be easier to implement a system whereby you could use a different dye to change colour? Or just think before crafting stuff? This just seems to me to be a function that'll be woefully underutilised.
Cat Beds - already exist in another mod; Technic has a whole section of them (I forget which actual mod it is tho)
Fridges - the stacking would be handy, but if it can be implemented in a fridge then why not in general...? Unless you had another item to facilitate it; eg Cartons of Eggs/Milk.
Long Chairs - or, more accurately chaise lounges et al., - I do like this idea
TVs being out-of-place - This leads me to think of a furniture mod split in two - Traditional, and a Modern plug-in... in a Modern Furniture world, you would indeed have televisions, maybe a radio (linked to an mp3 directory :D), electric lamps etc - someone earlier posted about IC/RP electrical integration, which would fit the theme of Modern rather well. The Traditional aspect would focus more on actual furniture and decorative, as opposed to appliances such as fridges/freezers/televisions and the like.
Carpets - yes, it's all well and good to say "I oppose carpets because my new superdooper mod is bringing out carpet by the wazoo" - awesome, so yet another mod to manage/update/hope the dev doesn't lose interest in... I for one like to minimise my dependencies. And the theme of a furniture/decorative mod such as this most definitely includes wall and floor coverings.

Hi mate can you update the server version to 1.3.2 please i want to freak out my friend.
Can you do it ?
My friend has this on his server(default, non bukkit) and it works fine just with some oddities with the chairs.
There trying to kill me and my friend when we sit on them, cause it's acting like there's a block right above them, so it's problem matic
to sit in them.
@jammy I was wondering what new changes you had in the next update? Cause from what I've seen the icons was a bit smaller,
and in different angels, so I was wondering would that relate to having different placement facings?
Also one thing I would like to see if colored roofing blocks, I.E. red, blue, green, and all the way to fill in the last 15 colors for the full 16 colors.
Or make it to were the colored roofing blocks(corner and side) can be colored using the dyes so we can pick and chose our desired color. Sorta like how the Wool is.
Though that is just a suggestion.

You partly spotted one change and spotted the other! The two changes in that picture are; blocks no longer use item icons, instead they use their custom rendered models which makes it easier for me and texturepack makers. The other change like you said was you can now rotate the mob heads in more than the default 4 directions (similar to how the mob heads in the minecraft snapshot work).
I also plan on adding sounds in the next version, so we can look forward to that! Currently rewriting everything so it might be a few days before I actually update.
