I find it wierd, it doesn't works for me, I've put the StalkerCreeper_1.4.6 file in my coremods folder and it doesn't work. What did I miss? And just to tell, I run around 75 mods now and Stalker Creeper was one of the firsts I tested, when I had around 2 mods. Didn't work at that moment too.
Are you unzipping the file, grabbing the .jar out of /coremods (in the mod file) then dropping the .jar into /coremods in your .minecraft? The instructions telling to just "drag & drop" the .zip are outdated/mistaken. Works fine for me once I figured this out. Cheers!
Always consult the .readme file (when there is one) with this sort of stuff; that's how I figured this out.
Note Mojang changed the Creeper AI somewhat, instead of standing still behind you it might bump into you, and shove around you, up until it's "visible" and explodes
I think that the creepers footsteps should be deliberatly heard after you stop walking. Basically, I mean that you should change it so that creepers don't follow you exactly. They stop walking a little bit after you stop, so that it is only realize that they are behind you if you are listening for it. Or maybe creepers should have a new walking sound, slightly different than the players, so that you would be able to realize.NEVER TURN AROUND... Like while playing slender!
Any chance we could get a setting to make creepers like (fri)enderman?
I like the idea of having a bunch of creepers running around a cave while I "casually" avoid looking at them for dear life.

I don't understand how to install this mod.
The "instructions" say to extract the files from the zip into the minecraft folder. There is no read me or anything more.
Inside the zip there is a setup folder which contains a coremods folder and a mods folder. I'm assuming that i put the contents of the coremods folder (stalkercreeper jar file) into minecraft/coremods folder. And the same for the contents of the mods folder (updatechecker zip file) into minecraft/mods.
But then there is another folder inside the zip called src which has various subfolders.
Where the heck do the contents of that go? Does it just go in the minecraft folder?
I really appreciate the effort to make the mod but a few more words of instruction would be helpful.
It does not require clients to have the mod, since explosion AI is handled on server side. It does not show as loaded mod either. You can only check with a Creeper

updated for MC 1.5.2
Note A: coremods now go into the mods folder
Note B: if you get a duplicate mods crash, thats a Forge bug. Wait for a new version
