Well, I'm going to give you the same response I did before.
"Since the mod isn't making your game crash, the issue is your computer can't handle mods. ExtraBiomes is a pretty hefty mod for your computer to cope with, Sonic's mod even more so, the problem's your computer.
That said, I'd recommend changing your render distance, perhaps try the mod using a lower resolution texture pack, and trying the ever so great Optifine mod, or stop using the Sonic's shaders mod"
Stupid question; Can I use this mod for SSP, then join any random SMP server without complications? Assuming I use the vanilla-only version...?
Thanks
You can use both ExtraBiomesXL/RPG and Classic on SMP with not problems. Biomes will stay the same as they are on the server, as they're stored in chunk data now. However, if you try to drag an item from the mod in the creative menu to your inventory, Minecraft will crash.

Yep I think JojHeywood is on to something there, you're using a shader package which is really really intensive on your graphics card. Plus I see you're using it with a 64x or 128x texture pack which can compound the problem. It wouldn't be just ExtraBiomes giving you issues: try finding a jungle biome in vanilla Minecraft and you should experience the same FPS drop.
What's your graphics card anyways?
I stopped using shaders because I could barely ever get any more than 12-16 FPS with them. Try lowering the rendering distance to Normal or Short, and applying all the tweaks and fixes on the Sonic's shader page. If you're using the original GLSL shaders, try replacing them with Sonic's and tweak the heck out of them!
His original post is pretty long but most of the fixes actually DID improve performance for me (but my gfx card couldn't handle it in the end anyways). If nothing helps, run the game without the shaders and get a 32x texture pack as a last resort...
Also as has been suggested, update the LWJGL, I really believe it's helped me a bit.

Requesting a confirmation please: Should ocelots spawn in mini-jungle biomes or not?

We'd like to see an error log, we probably already know what your issue is and it's probally getting addressed in the next update, but you can find out how to get an error log here.
The reason they're seperate is because;
They're made by different developers
Not everyone wants to see RPG type environments inside their minecraft.
So apparently the ID 178 is occupied by the redwood sapling, and the add-onn adds the mud block whose ID is also 178... Requires only a simple fix, really.
With this new DO-IT-YERSELF guide, you can go into the config file (somewhere inside your MC directory) and change it yerself.
..Go into your Minecraft file and look for the ExtraBiomes Config, and change the block IDs so they no longer conflict
With that said, there is nothing that deliberately would crash your game. So go give it a try.
Ok thanks ill let everyone know later if it crashed (for future reference)
EDIT: nope sorry everyone yogbox is 1.2.3 so I cant install the add-on at all
Screenshot shows that 979 chunks of 10000 have rendered (less than 1%). Despite your computer's specs it is having trouble keeping up. Try shortening your render distance and using a 16x texture pack just to see if that helps.
Cool story bro, tell it again.
Thanks for the update, I'm sure MisterFiber is aware, and is currently updating.
Forge has updated.

Soon, you'll be able to choose what biomes spawn, turning them on and off respectively.
Feel free to turn each biome off except for the classic biome and prehaps sea when the team implement it.
It is doubtful this would be without complications, with or without this mod...
