I'm much more a fan of EBXL than of BoP myself as well. Some of BoP's additions are cool, but others are just weird and annoying. And the crag biome with its "crag stone"? Not only is that stuff utterly useless, it's too ugly to even use as anything but fill.
Did you know that they removed this crag rock from the mod very recently?
Actually, no, I didn't. I haven't encountered any in my current 1.10.2 world, but didn't know it had actually been removed. Shockingly, I won't lament its passing.

Hello! I'm trying to get ExtrabiomesXL to work with Thaumcraft, Twilight Forest, and Realistic Terrain Generation.
The issue I had is that while ExtrabiomesXL biomes would generate just fine, Twilight Forest biomes would generate in the overworld.
I fixed this by adjusting the biome values for ExtrabiomesXL so there's no conflict. However, while ExtrabiomesXL biomes still spawn, all the EBXL biomes are set as "plains". For example, I will get an Autumn forest will all the colorful leaves and trees, but the biome in F3 will say Plains and the grass will look like plains biome.
I checked my config files, there shouldn't be any biomes ID conflicts. I also disabled RTG and I'm still having this same problem.
Here's a google sheet showing the biome ID changes I've made to the config file. Any help to fix this would be wonderful, thanks!
I am going to add 30 more trees to the ExtraBiomes XL.
I noticed my favorite biome isn't spawning in from here anymore. The extreme rainforest biome doesn't seem to exist and I used nature's compass with a range of 10k blocks. It use to spawn in the 1.5.2 mc backport and was my favorite. Apparently I only see the regular rainforest

I'm having lots of fun with this mod added! You know those big oak trees in the woodlands biome that have quarter logs? Is there a way I can grow that kind of tree? I tried placing oak saplings 2x2 and they just turned into one normal oak tree, and I can't find any info on those trees or if you can grow them anywhere so just thought I'd ask. thank you!
Any plans for update too MC 1.14.4 any time soon? Really wanting the old biome generator back or something as close to it as i can get for MC 1.14.4 Forge.

Use Anti Id Conflict and configure your biome ids
So not only is the extreme rain forest not spawning in but, the snowy forest doesn't snow. The temperature needs to be adjusted
