Are you sure there's no way to add an SMP helper or will I have to make my village design in SSP then remake it in SMP when I know it'll work for what I have in mind?
Could be useful. I might add this in the next few days if I find some spare time
I think children are counted as well (I'd be very suprised if they didn't). I guess they were running outside the village (more precisely, the box in which they are counted, which is always only 9 high, even if your village had a radius of 500).
1.7.10 is total cake , nocakeing any caked recipe work , tried to make el steel now furnace kick coal out , srsly all mods that was upraded to 1.7.10 is stink cake
just delete this caking mod and install 1.6.4 they work at least or make your own mod without caking yourself all day and night because there is some caked recipe that dont caked work
I need to find a way to open up the mod coz i put it into my jar file but then i press f3 and open the shtuff up and it showed me the cords too the village but then it now dosent work any key i have to press to make it work
PLZ REPLY EITHER HERE
or [email protected]
thx
As stated in the front post, the mod won't display anything if it can't find a village. There's no output other than the F3 thing.
To see if it still works, you could make a new map with a seed that spawns you close to, or directly inside a village (e.g. "gimmevillage").
Thanks for the showcase =)
I'm no expert at showcasing mods either, so there's little feedback I can give... What I noticed though is that you only highlighted one of the features, which is finding villages. I originally made this mod to understand how villages work, with the ultimate goal of building an automated golem farm. So the mod helped me to figure out technical stuff like "is this door being recognized by minecraft as a house?". It also seems to help lots of people building villages with stuff like preventing the village from turning into a ghost town, or having the town split into two internally (if you build the houses too far apart) (see linked discussion thread).
That being said, I'm not sure what kind of channel and audience you have (or are aiming for). If it's supposed to be very technical, I guess you should have gone into these things. If you want to make a LP channel and keep the spotlights short, you probably did good =)
So sorry about being 'that guy,' but how do I install and/or use this mod?
I don't do modding with minecraft much so all I could figure from this thread (since there was no basic "how to" guide) was to drop the aiy.class file into the bin file. It didn't really work, the game crashes at startup.
Do I need any other mods or files installed, or am I using it wrong? Anyone know how to fix this?

It sounds like you forgot to delete the meta-inf or manifest folder, I forget which.
@trunkz How close do the villagers (and how many?) have to be near to a door pass the active house check? Planning on keeping a small number of villagers trapped near the doors and the rest in a separate and hopefully protected room at a golem farm because the door noise is unbearable.

One is enough. They should be within 15-16 blocks horizontally on both axis, and within 3-4 blocks vertically.
It doesn't do a thing if you
- didn't press F3
- aren't close to a village
- are on SMP
I think I'll update it shortly after the new MCP is released.
i tried it.
it doesent crash, but creates some bugs and will not work

Updated for 1.2.5

That sounds perfect! thanks!
