Hell yeah! This all i need to start making my adventure map. Also, nice butons you got there *presses all buttons and sets the setings to the best* Ok, now i will get the coolest ma.... *minecraft crashes* HOLY S****ty DO'h !
I'm so sad... it's still not working. I tried to install it 3 times. I deleted the meta inf 2 different ways. Still giving me the infamous 'DONE LOADING' message.... ohhh
Is anyone else experiencing the terrain generation bug I'm getting?
Whenever I log off and back on, or whenever MC crashes, the terrain generation for that world is "reset" to default. Thus, any other unscouted land will end up with default terrain, and often times they completely don't go along with the original terrain. Since default ocean level is at 128, my mountains are puny compared to the sea level.
This bug is quite frustrating, as it destroys the original design I wanted...so, anyone here who has the problem? Or is it just me?
Anyways, thanks you UGM for the constant updates on an otherwise awesome mod.
It's a known bug UMG is working his hardest to fix it
Thus really needs a tutorial, I've been trying to create skylands, but so far only managed a crater-pocket wasteland with weathered stone cliffs, words wich was savageley attacked by a giant blender, and a world stripped to the very bedrock.
All the over and over and over, but I'll keep trying!
So now that I've gotten it working I was wondering how or if you can change the max terrain generation height to something like 128 as despite being on anvil not everyone wants 255 high worlds (Even with multicore optifine my computer is still beat to ****).
Also I think it would be good if you could somehow save your generation settings in a .txt so you could easily share them, though if that's problematic I wouldn't encourage it.
I made a world, the preview showed a world, sort of normal, but with giant pillars stretching to the sky every once in a while.
Tried loading the world: NOPE.
It causes errors trying to open that one world, since something in the generation is fubar, and can't be handled or something.
(Keeps spitting on me, saying that [I think] the wz and aly classes are being funky.(Note: It spits it at me repeatedly, same 5 lines, to the point where I can't find the original exception.)

And then it spits this at me.

Generated this bizarro world. Too bad it ran out of memory and crashed MC.
BTW, I can't duplicate settings that I found that make really good worlds, because you can't enter the correct number (which may include negative values) because the sliders won't go to an exact number, and won't do negatives.
So, the problem I see is that if you hit random, it can pick values that you cannot choose manually...any chance of fixing that somehow? I found a really good set of values, and I can't replicate them now.
This might be the most terrifyingly badass thing I have ever seen in minecraft.
About the 'sunshade roof' problem, lower the Y Lerp value. If that doesn't work, change the D2 Post-Clamp Scale setting on page 6.
i am having a crash problem... i tried making a new minecraft.jar file, deleting META-INF, installing modloader, and moving the files to minecraft.jar using winrar, yet i still have crash problems. its not my computer because i moved my vanilla version into the jar folder, and it works

Make sure you have no other mods in your /mods folder
But it's not working for me... I deleted the META-INF and everything....

edit: Also, I was using 0.1.2, if it helps.

I watched the video and even gave you a "like" tweeted about it also.
Can you PM a link to me? I don't spend all of my time checking MCForums.
i'd vote for mod of the month!!!!
cheers,
chem!
