Quick question. Will you be making the mod loader version of the mod so you just need to put it into the mod folder? That way it will be easier for you to code as you will only need to focus on one version of the mod as forge users can still use the mod loader version, it will be 10 times easier to install, saves more of your time and forge users will always have the same update.
Also I would love you a lot, because this mod is one of the many mods that my minecraft does not like to be in it's jar (don't ask me why, it just freezes on Loading World: Converting World whenever I try to make a new map, so every mod except certain mods has to be in the mods folder for some strange reason [It was working fine])
Hmm, weird error. Anyway, possibly everything but the more awesome Default generation *might* be doable with a drop into the mods folder. Just don't expect it anytime soon.

Hrm, I set this up on my server and am using the cave dimension. Thing is, beds don't work. Is this a known issue and I'm just blind in not seeing any posts about that?

The cave is actually not located at overworld... At least, that's what I think. I dug all the way up and all I see are bedrock (so it could be The End dimension. Could be wrong.)
So I have the newest BWG 3 for Forge, and I cannot create Cave worlds. It just stays on the Building Terrain screen. I used an error thingy to see what is happening and it loads all the dimensions then ends on placing strongholds. (If after creating the world, exiting out of Minecraft (without the world loading), then trying to load it "pre-generated")

I get all this junk about class gq, and some cave provider. If you need the log I can get it, but it ends with unloading all the dimensions (0,7,1,-1)

I've looked around a bit, and there is only one thing that bothers me.
The mountains itself are beautifull in the ColdHill biome, but this... it kinda ruins it, though.
But aside from that it looks amazing!
Those rocky plateaus are a natural part of real-life taiga biomes (yes, "biomes" are a real-life thing ) See, as you get closer to the permanently snowy parts of mountains, vegetation like grasses and flowers become increasingly less common, meaning you'll see raw dirt and and rock instead of grass

- Will that survival skylands have tiny little biomes on it so that we can have a source of snow, ice, jungle trees/cocoa, and other things that can only be found in specific biomes?
- Are those biome packs going to be only for the Gold worldtype?
ted80, why does BWG use gr.class and up.class? It's causing conflicts with Better than Wolves, but I'm not understanding why both mods are modifying these files when Better than Wolves doesn't have anything to do with world/terrain generation.
Is it possible to make BWG without modifying these class files?
Recent changes to BTW make it completely incompatible with any mod that attempts to alter the same files, so currently the only way to have a BWG generated world is to explore it beforehand and then remove BWG and add BTW to the jar. It's a pretty time-consuming process since none of us have been able to find a world creation tool that will use anything but vanilla world generators.
BTW doesn't do anything with terrain, so why are they having a class file conflict?
