Could you add a config option to only use Vanilla biomes in world generation? There seems to be some issues that are causing Millinaire mod Villages to not generate in biomes from your mods.

What? If you just want Vanilla world gen, either remove the mod or don't select Realistic World Gen as the world type. Why would you add a config option to turn off what this mod adds?

I think what he means is to make the mods use the vanilla biome ID's while still generating the new terrain. I don't know enough about the coding to say how easy/hard/possible that would be to accomplish.
Awesome Work! Unfortunately it seems like the mods doesn't work with the Atum Dimension Mod, because the biome "Atum's Desert" which is the Biome of the Dimension, is generated in the overworld as well (Atum Mobs spawn there too). I only tried it with Realistic World Gen though.

I hope this wasn't posted yet If so I'm sorry, but I didn't want to look through all the 200+ pages
btw didn't found a bug report thingy or something^^
You may be having an ID conflict. If so, please follow these directions.
Locate your config file in the .minecraft folder. Double click the one for the Atum and change the ID to an unused number. To find out which is unused, you can use NEI to do an ID dump. If you need further assistance, I can explain in more detail.
If you are not having an ID conflict, it may because of something to do with how Minecraft generates sub-biomes. I do not know how to fix your problem if this is the case.

So I'm using Real World Gen and I would like to play with mo creatures. Where would I go in the configs to edit and make it so the mo creatures mobs spawn?

I am using both RWG and MoCreatures, and yes the Critters spawn. I too wondered where to change a config, but it doesn't seem necessary to get them to spawn. I have ents and elephants and trukeys etc.... on the other hand, I have ALL of them everywhere, lol, so Im guessing that somewhere in teh configs of Custom Mob Spawner (not MoCreatures) there is a way to get the two mods to agree on biome names.
This is a really cool mod. I love the more realistic world gen.
It does need some work - I get a lot of map loading lag, and in some cases, I need to completely log out and log back in to get the map to continue loading.
I really hope the developer keeps improving and releasing updates.
How do I make the realistic world gen for server?Like it says generator-settings= ???How do I make it RWG?Nvm, I found it.
standard capacity 50rd glock branded megaclipazines firing deadly assault hollowpoints.
For the 1.8 update you should combine all these into one mod.

(It's called shameless self promotion. We all did it once.)
what config editing do i need to do to mo creatures for the realistic world gen to work properly?
FWG works very well with Aether II I am surprised it was compatible with it cuz sky mods conflict easily well done on the mod bro!
You should generate the mountains in the realistic generator using height maps of real mountains.
please remove the full quote of the original post first.
Nice idea! Was this your original idea or did you get inspiration from somewhere?

So when Ars Magics2 is in liquid essence is fairly abundant and the configs are pretty much nonexistant for RWG, any way to tone this down?

I would like some guidance on this as well.
And it seems like only pigs spawn in some places and no hostiles to be found. Is this a glitch?
Mo' creatures has a config which will let you choose what biomes everything spawns in, I believe.
I would go to the Mo' Creatures forum for more guidance
If your talking about the Custom Mob Spawner i have looked in the forums about that. Didn't find anything helpful
RWG is such a beautiful mod, but at the moment it's not for me. I do understand that it is in Alpha atm though. Cna't wait for a better version
I mean, asking the question yourself on the site that is more likely to know might be a good idea...
