Hey Ted, have you thought of adding a Cave World world type for FWG? Ever since Cave-Gen discontinued, it's been hard to find a cool mod that brought the same experience.
Compatible but requires config editing:
MineFactoryReloaded, Mo' Creatures
But I can't find how the heck I'd configure these to work. I use both of them and would love to use them with this. If anyone has any ideas or configs that are already set up that you can send me, please do!
I have a question about newer versions. If you add oceans/jungles/beaches etc to new versions, how will this work with worlds on previous saves of the mod? Will the new biomes generate cleanly into the world? By which I mean there wont be rough world transitions between the old world and the "new versions" world? (like cliffs along chunk lines, rough biome transistions, etc)
I like to play with more creatures but nothing spawns.
I look for the first in the config but i find nothing where i can set the spawns ..... what must i do ???
RWG Biomes have different names than the Vanilla Biomes.
I think you have to edit the config file of Mo Creatures for it to work (If there is one).
Could you add a sapling for the realistic pine trees in RWG ted? I hate cutting them down because they are so pretty! That's why I want saplings for them.

Traditionally Ted's mods have not gone in and rewritten chunks which has made for some crazy map edges between old and new versions. (I have one somewhere with a 150 block wall edge essentially down the middle... it was cool though!)
On the main page it say RWG and FWG both need to have their config file edited to support Mo' Creatures (or vice versa). I have Mo' Creatures as part of my personnel 1.7.10 mod pack (revolves mainly around making a realistic Jurassic Park experience) and I'd like to include this mod, but I don't know what I must edited to make them work. Can anyone tell me if they know?
Other mods included (in case they also need to be edited or are uncompatible)
-Jurassic Craft
-Plant Mega Pack
-Minions Mod
-Flans Gun Mod
-Enviromine
-Oceanic Craft
I know Minions, Flans and enviromine, Whats the problem with them? I don't think flans and minions has worldgen...
I just want to ask is it possible to remove the cobble that is generating similar to the mossy that is generating in the Mega Taiga like so ?
It cool but I think is too much. So yeah it would be awesome if there is a way to remove it?
That's just normal vanilla, nothing to do with RWG
Hi!
I'm using FWG 1.7.10 in a modpack with biomes o plenty and whenever I try creating a new world with FWG-SkyWorld-Vanilla+Mods it crashes:

Please Help me!
I have the same problem with RWG, but I think that's just because it can't generate and be played immediately. All you need to do is generate a world, this crash will probably show once it's close to finishing, and then just open minecraft back up again and enter the world. You may need to try it once or twice, but it will work. 'Exception in server tick loop' just means that too much time was spent in 'garbage collection' and not enough of the heap is recovered. It's basically designed to prevent applications from running for an extended period of time while making little or no progress because the heap is too small. So just restart minecraft and enter your world and all should be good.

I:"06 rwg_hotDesert"=236
I:"10 rwg_jungle"=240
Except the ones I was asking about totally do. I just want to know if they spawn structures like the vanilla counterparts properly.
