Have you tried a different world? I currently play a new map and haven't found any structures neither but the map before had almost everything close to the spawnpoint
Yup, I make lots of worlds hoping to finally find the perfect world. I did find a seed from utube_, the seed is (Emerald)
Thanks for the quick replies and for the help
I removed BWG3 and found so many villages, emeralds, and temples.
I'm going to let you in on a secret, almost all forge related mods are compatible. I have like 20 mods installed to my minecraft right now with BWG3 installed.
hey man I'm not sure if it's a bug but I also have troubles finding them - it might be that they just are very rare now :/
Anyways try the seed "byaw" ... it spawns you right in front of a winter biome (at least with default generation)
-> On a side note, if you create a portal right at the spawn you will spawn in front of a netherfortress
Worked like a charm, thanks. Not only does it make a cool, hilly taiga biome with a lovely frozen river winding throughout, but the starting place is almost directly beneath some sweet floating ruins (complete with waterfall) if you're using the floatingruins mod http://www.minecraft...-floatingruins/
Just glad to know snowy biomes are still around, however rare they may be =D

I have mods that require Forge 4.0.0.230, but it seems that this mod will not work with that version. It worked fine with 4.0.0.217. Any chance that it can be made compatible? Here is the crash log when I run it on client version of MC 1.3.2...

Forge 230 isn't the problem. I'm running 230 and BWG3 Forge is working fine. I did get one of those bizarre "chunk error" worlds where a smallish area generated like a giant chunk error, but I've seen that with the non-Forge version and it seems to just be one of the vagaries of 1.3.2's terrain generation to begin with.

Are u using the modloader version of BWG3 or Forge version.
If you are using modloader version swicth to forge version.
Will this work with an already generated world? If not then can I run a dual maps mod and make another map?
How do I know if this has worked? I have followed the instructions and installed it fine but im running on a Bukkit server.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
This will not work with already generated worlds. To know that this mod has installed correctly go to the more world options menu when creating a new world, then click more world types, you should find more types like beta and alpha.
I don't know anything about Bukkit servers so I can't help you there, sorry.
P.S
Villages, Emeralds, temples will not gen. you can read about it on page_66

I found a really really awesome Seed for Default. It spawns you right next to a Snow-Biome and a nice village. A bit further are great mountains with floating islands and a stronghold is (relatively) close by too

I am using MC v1.3.2, MagicLauncher v 0.9.9, Forge build #240, and the Forge version of BWG3. Just to verify I even redownloaded the file and tried again...twice. This worked even as late as Forge build #234 and I believe #239. I have it running on a friend's computer. But when I decided to wipe out my install and redo everything from scratch, I get the above error. With no other mods installed.
Can we have another preview of the Gold world type, if you've added anything since last time?
Also if you generate a world in the preview gold world type, then when the real release comes out, and you explore more land, would it generate the new stuff added in the official gold world type, or would you have to create a new gold world type when the official one comes out?
Thanks for the quick replies and for the help

If you are using modloader version swicth to forge version.
If you using forge version then it must be one of the mods that u have installed. Here's the link to get better forge builds http://jenkins.minecraftforge.net:7070/job/forge/
