After 2 days, I have yet to figure it out, which of the mods misbehave. Only disabling HEE mod allows the game to successfully launch. Pardon for asking, but is there a way to read that error more thoroughly or what exactly is OrbAcquirableItems
That class goes through all recipes in the game. If a mod doesn't register their stuff properly and has a recipe that uses these broken items, vanilla Minecraft can't handle that and crashes. You would get a similar crash if you tried to craft the broken item, except then you would also lose the items and potentially the world. Because the item is broken in a way it doesn't actually exist, it's impossible to know which mod causes it apart from removing mods until it starts working - 1.6.3 update will have some debug stuff that will list all the recipes, so it may be easier to find out what the problem is by seeing other items in the recipe that aren't broken.
I love this mod, but I have one question. In the newer versions, what does Java7Checker.jar do, and why do we need it?
You don't need it if you are 100% certain that you have Java 7 installed properly. The mod just detects older versions of Java and shows an error message to the user, there is barely any overhead of having it installed.

Thanks for the reply. I've never had any Java version older than Java 7 on this computer, so I guess I don't need it then.

I get the same thing but even removing HEE from the list of mods doesn't work!

Please, follow the instructions in the link I sent couple posts back, and find the mod that's conflicting. This HAS to be reported to the author of that mod, because it's serious issue.
Hello, i cant craft cake. I try normal recept for cake, but doesnt working.
Are you by any chance related to Indian Play?
What does the compass icon say when you hover over it? It should say Bucket of Milk, there is a bug where blocks and items that don't have an icon take the icon of the compass, but it shouldn't replace the items themselves.
Also, got any other mods installed? There might be one that's replacing the bucket, but that's just a guess.
It say ONLY milk (ID: 335). But milk bukkit have ID: 335, biome compas ID: 4919. When i try use dino egg from fosil and archeology, it working, but with normal chicken egg not. Mod whitch add bukkit is Tinkers Construct and Iguana Tinker Tweak.
Got Skype or something? [You can find me on esper.net if you prefer IRC]
I will need the FML client logs and I may need you to send me the mods and configs to test it myself. Honestly I've never seen this issue, but I could test it on latest dev version (assuming that is MC 1.7.10, anything older is... well, old and unsupported)

The dragon doesn't destroy End Stone (well , in vanilla minecraft anyway)
Hardcore Ender Expansion 1.6.3 is out!
Here we go, yet another massive update as a part of the 1.6 redesign! The key feature in this one is the Ender Compendium, which has been completely redone from programming and designing point of view.
The Compendium is no longer an item - if you're planning to update, I would suggest getting all of the items and running them through Decomposition Table, if you want those resources back ;). Otherwise they'll just disappear.
But the important thing is, how does it work now? Every player now has their own Compendium accessible by pressing P (rebindable). You can then click on the ? button and get information, which I will try to briefly explain in the next paragraph.
There are 3 key concepts - Knowledge Points, Knowledge Objects and Knowledge Fragments. Points are a currency used to purchase Objects and Fragments, Objects are the blocks, items, mobs and other "topics" that hold Fragments, which contain information. By discovering Objects, you gain Points, which you can then spend on its Fragments or unlock other undiscovered Objects (but then you lose the bonus you'd get by discovering them). That is the simplest way I could've put it :).
Couple more things about the Compendium - if you've ever used Large GUI scale with unicode fonts, you may have experienced wonky, badly scaled text rendering. There is a new button in the Compendium that lets you toggle experimental text rendering, which makes the text look marginally better! Just look at the screenshots - before and after.
And that is enough for the Compendium, there are other changes too. The Instability Orb can now drop many, many more items, but it is also more likely to find broken items from other mods as a direct result. For that reason, there is a config option which lets you output debug info, and pinpoint the broken item much easier based on parts of the recipe which aren't broken!
I have also fixed several critical issues, all of which are listed in the changelog. Download and everything else is in the main post as always. Please follow me on Twitter and check out my Patreon account, all support is appreciated :).

How do you know if the recipe is broken? is there any keyword in the log?
but I did notice a serious flaw, hovering at the ceiling prevents anything from touching you. you can use this to effectively farm the runes:
blood magic magnetic sigil + extra utilities wings + thaumcraft reed staff/shock focus
i just spent 2 hours bug zapping the critters and didn't loose a single heart. maybe make one of them jump high or something?
also: i couldn't help but notice the runes have a low drop rate. i approve
Some other mod doesn't register their blocks or items properly.

Report the bug to them if possible, it's a critical issue - this link should give them enough information to fix it.

It does in the mod.

So could you make the dragon's capability a bit more configurable? like health, moving/ dashing speed, knockback and attack power?
There will be measurements against flying players eventually, you can now try enabling overpoweredMobs though and that should help a bit.
