like pruple kush, og kush, grand dady purp, blue dream, ak-47 etc diff strands of the plant that look diff and have diff effects but just the look of diff plants would be cool diff effects in game wouldnt really make any sence tho so basicly diff looks for diff strands
I have to agree i would love to see more variety and different strands. If you need help getting names or the effects i would recommend going to Leafly .com, maybe classify them by intensity level (Better/Longer Effect = Rarity)

Its embarrassing, but I couldn't get the world gen to work either... (Well it might be, but from my limited testing I couldn't find anything)
Busy with work and exams so hopefully I will be able to work on it next weekend since I get sunday off work for once!
I did like it a lot better when the plant grew in the wild. It added variety to the world and I didn't have to go looking for a village and all that. Also, the "hippy update" sounds like an awesome idea. Keep up the good work, man! I can't wait for the 1.7.2 update!

Do u have any other mods that are preferably 1.6.2 ever since i installed this mod i found myself addicted and wanted to check out ur other mods.
I dont have any others on 1.6.2 at the moment, but you can search up Amazopack and Arcane Ascension. One is 1.5.2 and the other is 1.4.7... Ill update them for 1.7 though!

May I make a suggestion for a new product? I'm sure making oil has been mentioned before, but I have a few ideas for you concerning specifics, if you care to steal any of them/they help you brainstorm.
1. Allow seeds, toke, and leaves to be smelted into sticky oil. Leaves provide 1 sticky oil part (combine 9 to make 1 sticky oil), seeds provide 6 sticky oil parts, and have toke provide 1 sticky oil.
2. Combining a sticky oil with a ground toke will result in a sticky toke, which has a more powerful healing effect (should resinating the pipes, like clogging the grinder, ever be added, sticky toke should provide more resin than healing in % terms)
3. Add IndustrialCraft2 support, so Sticky Oil can be used in place of Sticky Resin and Slime Ball for recipes.
4. Add IC2 support, so seeds/leaves/toke can be put through the extractor, for a better rate of retrieval for Sticky Oil.
5. Add Forestry (the mod) support for the squeezer, so biomass can be extracted from seeds/leaves. Remember, one of the primary reasons (besides paper) hemp was banned, was because of the seed's potential to outproduce any other plant, per acre, in terms of bio fuel.
6. Add Forestry support for new bees that require hemp plants as their flowers, and produce hemp combs.
7. Add a new variety of hemp that only grows 1 block high, gives a possible two seeds, and produces toke that has more visual effects (like the old nausea version), but less healing/munchies.
If these wouldn't be too much work too add, it would add a lot of cross-compatibility immersion with another popular mod, and by extension, another handful of very popular mods (IC2, BuildCraft, etc. For example, hemp seeds could even be used to do something like power a Force Field via a chain of machines from various mods.) Right now, growing hemp is fairly low on the priority list, when other healing items have ingredients that can be converted to other things when a surplus is reached.
Making hemp the best biomass producer would make it a fairly valuable crop to crow, which is difficult when you have 20 odd other plants added by various mods that all do nifty things. Having it as a bee flower would defiantly increase it's value, and maybe the hemp comb could produce a rare hemp nectar, that acts like an even more potent version of sticky oil and reduces the munchie penalty.
Sorry, don't mean to throw all these "do this!" ideas at you. Pick out the parts you like, and ignore the rest. I just want to see this mod have a nice niche with other popular mods, so it feels more integrated into the game.

I was actually planning a hippy update a while ago, would be pretty funny.
