When I meant strong, I meant the blocks of ore, not the ore itself.
The dye would work like bone meal works; when combined with other dye, it makes new dyes. It could be golden orange, to fit in with lava. Look at the code for bone meal to find out how it works.
Plus, I have found starconium. One fell into lava and another I walked past. You said they spawn from level 10 downwards, but the only ones I found are at level 10 and 11.
Aw that sucks
At the moment, I do not want to add a stronger ore, but maybe in the future. For Starconium, I was just giving you a rough estimate since I hadn't looked at that part of the code in a long time. But if your asking for the EXACT generation height, it spawns from level 14 and down, plus the most it spawns in is 4 at a time. (In clumps). There should be like 8 - 16 Starconium in each chunk, according to my Code. Good luck finding them because they are there somewhere.
Ok, to make this a better mod and no useless junk.. Can you please delete the Fool's Ruby crap, and the Demonite? because i'v bin cavin' for hours and i only found 12 real Ruby's and 3 stacks of Fool's Ruby.. Hate Fool's Ruby!! Demonite is not really useful for anything. Also you should add at least 2 more ores in the game please! Like: Ilminite, (Dark Grey color, a bit better then Sapphire, can mine Coal, Hyper Coal, Copper, Iron, Ruby, Sapphire, Zectium and Gold) or Bauxite (Darkish Purple, about the same as Ilminite, can mine Coal, Hyper Coal, Copper, Iron, Ruby, Sapphire, and Zectium.) There are way more, if you would like more suggestions MSG me.. Hope these can be added! and PEACE!
I don't think Andy (or anyone for that matter) would take whatever you just wrote seriously. Who's going to even consider implementing your ideas when you call a mod "useless junk"? Plus, you call the current ores "crap" and yet suggest more useless ores to add for arbitrary reasons. How would Bauxite or Ilminite be useful or unique? From what it seems you just want more random new ores that have no contrast whatsoever, disregarding the obvious difference in color and strength. I was probably one of the few people who read past your insults of calling the mod "useless junk", as I'm sure others did not want to waste their time reading your bantering about a perfectly fine mod. Please consider what you write before posting it, and next time you want a developer to take into account any of your ideas, you probably don't want to start insulting the concept and material of the mod.
By chance, the place where I decided to build a ladder to get out of my cave, there was a 1x2x2 block of starconium, I think the 3 strongest ores should have increased blast proofing, so that TNT wouldn't destroy them. I have found lots now (but this is far from my house, in a mineshaft (link?))
Plus, I have realized iron lava buckets can fuel 100 smelts, whereas copper lava buckets can't.
I think bows should be able to shot arrows of lesser ores, like dispensers can, since I get loads of arrows from skeletons in my cave.
You said you were going to add TNT's? I can remember a discontinued mod, compatible with crazyores in 1.2.5, that added gunpowder ore, as well as loads of genius TNT ideas, The mod name was "more TNT stuff" or something, maybe get some ideas from that?
In V7.0 there are going to be a variety of new things. For now, I'm not going to add anymore into this update, but feel free to keep sending idea's over this way for future updates! I'm glad you found Starconium!

lol still remember the day i found like.. ummm was it 27 zanite? it was awsome!

1 quick question: are 1.4.6 mods compatible with 1.4.5? I can remember 1.2.5 mods were compatible with 1.2.4
1.4.6 modifications aren't compatible with Minecraft 1.4.5. Version 1.4.6 added in a variety of items, unlike 1.2.4 which was just mainly a bug-fix update along with multiplayer chat additions.
You have now made demonite furnaces very hard to craft... what is the recipe again?
You said crystal core is one starconium surrounded by 8 crystals, in the crafting it is the other way round
Plus, I think ruby tools should do more than mine just rubies, they should do something else, like get food or something useful from blocks.
And why does zectium nuke have only blast radius of 6? It should be 16!
Crystal Cores are not made like that, Starconium Shards are. If you read the Ore Mixtures section you can see why the Demonite Furnace was given a new Crafting Recipe. There is a lot more in this update then what was specified because Minecraft Forum has a limit on how much you can put in One Post. In the near future there will be another Forum explaining more. Zectium Nuke is a base for all other Nukes thats why that blast is low. Plus I don't think Ruby Tools dropping food makes much sense.

Hi, it looks like you either forgot to drag in one of the files or overrode one of them during the installation process. Do you have any other mods installed? If not, try to re-install everything and see if it works. Please tell me what you did. Thanks!
The new additions are actually pretty good, I can finally make non-enchanted non-meteroite tools that can set those Creepers on fire. The only thing that disappointed me was the golden-mixtured tools, since it's pointless if you have a skeleton XP farm, which I do. I haven't tried out the nukes though.
Also, I feel that Fool's Ruby gems need a purpose in this mod, besides being a block for Fool's Ruby Golems. How about making a mixture with Fool's Ruby that results in a Lucky (Ore) Ingot/Gem. This results in the tool having Fortune I, II, or III depending on the ore, but are VERY weak. For example, a Lucky Diamond Gem can be crafted to make a pickaxe that has Fortune III on it. However, due to the foolishness/nature of Fool's Ruby, it has only 104 uses instead of the default 1562, divided by 15.
EDIT: Swords have the analogous Looting instead of Fortune. Axes (maybe Hoes) can too, since you can barely get anything with Fortune on it.
Really, I respect your work, but mods like this are pointless.
How is this mod pointless? If you had bothered to actually read the post, you would have seen that this mod adds new tools (sledgehammers), extends the hierarchy of ores even further, and gives the player many new goals. Distinctive features such as the Demonite Furnace, Golems, Nukes with unique properties, and Metoerite Armor add fun things to achieve and create. Plus, this mod supports multiplayer, which very few mods work properly with. These are only a few features, there are still many more. Read the post itself instead of just glancing over it before you start calling mods "pointless" and insulting their creators.

About the dye, I'll think about it.
