I'm posting this here to help people have problem / issue / crashing / crash 's etc. I don't know where the problem actually is but, here's my workaround.

SYMPTOM
The world Crashes just after generation. If you experience the crash then, load the game back up and try to enter the world you were creating when it crashed, it lets you. Not sure if it's fully generated correctly though. The crash is inconsistent.

CONFLICT bsspkrs' mods ( ArmorStatusHUD, DirectionHUD, StatusEffectHUD & DaftPVF's Mods ( Treecapitator, CrystalWing, StartingInv, FloatingRuins ) require bspkrsCore. BspkrsCore.cfg appears to have some settings in it that cause the world to crash just after Terrain Control gets done generating the world.

ANOTHER WORKAROUND
One other workaround is to use his older versions of bspkrsCore. However, some mods will not work in 1.7.10 with these older versions (StatusHUD for example)

Even though the mod hasn't been officially updated, it was updated in a 3rd party repo to 1.8.9. I have a mostly working 1.9.4 port, but this line for adding the blocks to the stats is broken (StatList.MINE_BLOCK_STATS index values don't match up with return values from Block.getIdFromBlock(block) and in some cases even produces an out of bounds error):
Are there any compiled downloadable jars for this? I'd love to try out the 1.8.9 version.

Start with bspkrsCore.
If you download with git make sure you are on the correct branch.
Building is as simple as running gradlew clean setupCIWorkSpace build
The result named [1.8.9]bspkrsCore-universal-1.8.9.1.jar will be in the build/libs. You'll need that for building Treecapitator.
Once done with that go to your TreeCapitator folder and create a folder named libs and place [1.8.9]bspkrsCore-universal-1.8.9.1.jar in there.
Comment out line 36 of the build.gradle file like this

Then it's just a simple matter of running gradlew clean setupCIWorkSpace build
I made sure that I used the branch update/1.8.9, cloned it, and compiled it. The file was instead named this: [1.8]bspkrsCore-universal-7.01.jar
Also, Treecapitator's file was this: [1.8]Treecapitator-universal-2.0.5.jar.

Hey, can't get Treecapitator to work. I'm on 1.6.4 and have been using Core 5.3 and Treecapitator 1.6.4.r07. I've tried using every 1.6.4 Treecapitator version, but everytime I put the mod in my game crashes on the Mojang screen. Try deleting Treecapitator.cfg to let it generate a new one. I think your error message could be caused by having a leftover copy of the config from a different version of the mod.
For anybody else that wants to use this mod, but it's not updated, use Veinminer. It works on logs, and you can just disable the other tools if you need.

I'm trying to blacklist the Twilight Forest Oak but I can't seem to get it working. I added this: S:blockIDBlacklist=TwilightForest:tile.TFLog, 0 % 4; TwilightForest:tile.TFLeaves, 0 % 8 to the config but my axes still cut these down. Ideas?
Do any StartingInventory experts know how to prevent the inventory list from loading twice on world join (1.7.10r03)? The loads are about a second apart. I checked back to page 212, but there were no reports of the problem, and I haven't been able to fix it myself. Thanks in advance!

I finished a port a week and a half ago. However, I never had the chance to test it and it's not something I have the time to support.
I have a 1.10.2 server I'd be willing to test it on.
Also, I note that there is a 1.10.2 mod called Reap Mod whose principal purpose is to harvest crops via right-click and automatically replant, which now also does trees. It's much more simplistic than Treecapitator in its tree handling, but it works.

SYMPTOM
The world Crashes just after generation. If you experience the crash then, load the game back up and try to enter the world you were creating when it crashed, it lets you. Not sure if it's fully generated correctly though. The crash is inconsistent.

CONFLICT
bsspkrs' mods ( ArmorStatusHUD, DirectionHUD, StatusEffectHUD & DaftPVF's Mods ( Treecapitator, CrystalWing, StartingInv, FloatingRuins ) require bspkrsCore. BspkrsCore.cfg appears to have some settings in it that cause the world to crash just after Terrain Control gets done generating the world.

ANOTHER WORKAROUND
One other workaround is to use his older versions of bspkrsCore. However, some mods will not work in 1.7.10 with these older versions (StatusHUD for example)

I made sure that I used the branch update/1.8.9, cloned it, and compiled it. The file was instead named this: [1.8]bspkrsCore-universal-7.01.jar
Also, Treecapitator's file was this: [1.8]Treecapitator-universal-2.0.5.jar.

Hey, can't get Treecapitator to work. I'm on 1.6.4 and have been using Core 5.3 and Treecapitator 1.6.4.r07. I've tried using every 1.6.4 Treecapitator version, but everytime I put the mod in my game crashes on the Mojang screen. Is it possible anybody will update this to 1.10.0? I need Treecapitator in my life.
For anybody else that wants to use this mod, but it's not updated, use Veinminer. It works on logs, and you can just disable the other tools if you need.

I'm trying to blacklist the Twilight Forest Oak but I can't seem to get it working. I added this: S:blockIDBlacklist=TwilightForest:tile.TFLog, 0 % 4; TwilightForest:tile.TFLeaves, 0 % 8 to the config but my axes still cut these down. Ideas?
Really I would think treecapitator would be more useful.

I realize the source is messy but some of the best mods from 1.6.4 and 1.7.10 were.
Do any StartingInventory experts know how to prevent the inventory list from loading twice on world join (1.7.10r03)? The loads are about a second apart. I checked back to page 212, but there were no reports of the problem, and I haven't been able to fix it myself. Thanks in advance!
Hey Man, I followed your link, and for the last 3 to 4 days I've been trying to figure out how to make those into jar files, but programming is not one of my strongest computer subjects, I really have no idea what I am doing...

I have a 1.10.2 server I'd be willing to test it on.
Also, I note that there is a 1.10.2 mod called Reap Mod whose principal purpose is to harvest crops via right-click and automatically replant, which now also does trees. It's much more simplistic than Treecapitator in its tree handling, but it works.
I went and tried it but for a server. When you load it fails badly and definitely looks like it is looking for a client.

Tested against a 1.10.2/Forge 2070 server, and everything I tested seemed to work fine.
