You need to have redstone in your inventory or in your clone's inventory.

Huh. Maybe that's why I was so low on redstone when I decided to make my clone-growing machine. I barely had enough to make it work. I'll give it a go. Also, I'd tried it before, or at least I think I did, but it didn't have any effect.

1. is there anyway to make clones NOT teleport I have a factory,
I have priority's and my Clones do all the farming and stuff(or will be) and my Cube bots get farming supplys and pick up whats left behind(or will be) and will plant items
My turtles continue to supply tools and expand the factory
if the clones can farm it would be nice and if they didn't teletport >.<
Didn't teleport? Did you turn follow off? I have a farming clone told to guard that position, farm and walk to items with seeds in his first slot. He works fine. I also have another one near an egg and feather factory for infinite eggs and feathers, which works well for cloning. And the several guards around my base work well for bones and other mob drops.
I don't know if this is a bug or not, but ever since I built that DNA separator machine I have been getting animal dna from every animal I kill, with no needle or any other item from the mod in my inventory. Also, it would help if the dna were stackable, but More Stackables can fix that I think.

Anyway, I'm currently working on a few things.
Now, you have to clean your needles, if you want a pure sample. IE, You make a needle, and it's clean, however once you've used it and put the blood in a test tube, the needle become contaminated. Then if you go and extract blood from a different entity than the first, you will get their contaminated blood. So what I'm planning, is that once you've extracted the DNA, and created a clone from the DNA, it will mix up the entities, giving you mutated specimins(that's not how it's spelt...?) and stuff.
So, for an example, you extract your own blood, then extract some pig blood. You then get a contaminated pig blood needle thingi, then you go through the cloning process, and in the end, out pops some mutant human/pig...
We'll see how that goes, it may fail miserably lol.
I'm also (hopefully) adding ForgeServer support. I've changed my custom packet handling so I can now send data between the client and server properly, instead of lots of recurring if else statements... Yeah that was bad coding..
However it's moving slowly, as now that 1.6 has come out, I've got a whole lot more on my plate. They've changed around Icon's and stuff, again, so I have to learn how to program them again. I just tried using my code in 1.6, and a whole bunch of errors appeared, after fixing them, as soon as I try getting a needle or something similar, it crashes.... Woo. So much fun!
So I think I'll just play around a bit until I work something out..

Maybe have the clone dna deterioration thing like IRL. A clone isn't too bad, but a clone of a clone has genetic problems, and the dna gets damaged more and more through each successive cloning.

A quick question. I'm using the Diamond Dimensions ModPack from TheDiamondMinecart and as it isn't included, I added it, and for some reason the game wont go past the white screen.
Technic Launcher is running Minecraft 1.5.1 but I can't seem to get it to work. I have everything needed installed, but I just cannot get it. I'd ask Minecart guy himself, but I'm sure he wouldn't be able to help as he probly gets thousands of messaged a day.
if you have any thoughts, please let me know man.

I got everything for them I also incubated them and everything I even gave them iron armor almost full set then i leave them with a sword and everything to go mine to get some more iron to give it to them when I came back they were gone! I even put curious off guard on! why did they disappear I also made a clone finder if they did wander off but they were not listed please tell me why this happened and you can you please fix it? Ty for making the mod still fun however.
Haveing issues getting this set up on my Forge server Is this server capable?

Im an idiot I just saw the comment about server. If i might make a sugestion? Get 1.5.2 working then worrie about 1.6.1/1.6.2 I'm trying to set up a nice family/local server for my children and their friends lol, and this 1.5.2 to 1.6.1/1.6.2 update is makeing it difficult because all the children want mods on the server
P.S. My children absolutly love this mod. Works very well how ever I recomend 2048mb+ ram setting if creating multiple clones, They seem to use alot of ram. Potetentialy look into memory leaks?
In the next update, you should add something in the text file for what the clones say:
For example, if I wanted a clone that was AntVenom to say "DIE COWS, DIE!"
I would do this:

hello people well i have a question for anyone that can tell me how to do this. I want to change the base hp of clones so that they are on par with terrafirmacraft's hp of the player (1000) I tried changing it in the src and then recompileing it with the mpc of 1.5.1 version but for some reason i keep getting errors and will not compile... and yes I am using the 1.5.1 version of forge and this mod's src. Also I am doing this for personal reasons and don't plan on releasing it.
I tried to download the mod, but my Kapersky virus detector blocked the file, saying the url was infected. Does anyone know if the file is ok or infected?

it's a false detection. I scanned file after download with both kaspersky and mcafe they both came up clean
