So I have an interesting bug happening. All over the surface of my world, I find amethyst blocks just sitting on the ground. Within 5 minutes I found around 4-6 blocks, easily enough for all the basic tools and armor. I'm not getting any errors or anything, so there's no log I can post. I have many mods running (all the major tech mods, plus Thaum, Biomes XL, and a few others) but I'm not sure if this would be a mod conflict or it is simply your mod. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it takes all the fun out of finding gems! Thank you!
EDIT: Terribly sorry but I believe I posted too early. I think my problems were simply that I set the ID's for your blocks to conflict with vanilla blocks, which instead of shooting an error it simply overwrote them . I have increased the ID's to into the 2000's so there are no more issues, thanks for the great mod!
Hey TFC, whenever I use any of the armor from the pack, its just solid white on the character. The helmet looks like a pumpkin if you textured it solid white and the other armor pieces are the same but in their respective places. The helmet also has a big g1 (I think that's what it was) on top. Any ideas?

I counted 8 additional armors from the other mods I use, but I ended up having to add 33 to the original config numbers. Not sure why, but certain mods must be using more armor id's than they need. I'm using all the major tech mods, thaumcraft, EE, and Creeps/Weirdos. I had the exact same white armor with G1 on top of the head.

for staffs, it would be awesome to have one that directs down lighting, and one that shoots a fireball (similar to ghasts maybe?)
maybe even one that spawns mobs, but I don't know about that one
this mod looks amazing (even better than Balkon's Weapon Mod)... when do you expect it to be up for 1.3.1?

I've actually added 2 items that have to do with lightning, but I might still work that in with staffs (possibly)
I'm really not sure when it will be updated for 1.3.1.
I don't think ModLoader or Forge are even updated for it, so I'm honestly not sure

What are you going to do about emeralds being in vanilla? Are you going to change yours to a different gem, or make it so that vanilla emeralds can be used to make the mod tools?
I already like this mod, but I don't feel like switching back to 1.2.5 because I'm too lazy
If I may make a suggestion as to the mobs, how about a really rare spawn! Like a gem encrusted Golem that only spawns in a certain biome like emeralds. When you kill it the Golem could drop a new ore that you may have implemented in the same update. Mabye it drops the rarest gem or mabye even Diamonds or emeralds! The possibilities are truly endless when it comes to what this Golem may drop. I can't wait until the next update!

The emeralds in vanilla can only be used for trading and they're a different texture, so I'll most likely keep mine.

Just have a question, what are the stats and/or what is special about the battleaxe? Is it basically just a combo functionality between sword and axe? Or is it higher damage than a sword? Essentially, it's an upgraded sword. It has no special abilities like the special swords, but it is more powerful when hitting a mob with it.

Here's what ended up working for me:
I recommend jumping up the numbers by 5 and testing until you find the TFC Gem Pack armors, then adjust as necessary from there.

Sorry, these are the only IDs that work with vanilla Minecraft, and I've spent a while testing that.
It has to be a problem with those other mods; they might take up other IDs than you think.
Thanks for sticking with the mod though. There are so many items that it causes some bugs with other mods, but meh.
