Melon + Sugar + Yellow dye = STARFRUIT!!! LOL
Then the Starfruit can be given to the Clay Soldiers for... I don't know what, but here are a few ideas.
-Cloning (iow, duplicate the current soldier)
-Throwing stars (like Shuriken)
-A combination of existing traits (eg. Full Health + speed boost)
-Double hearts (if soldier have 5 hearts, the starfruit would give them 10)

I never had a Starfruit but I want to try one. Silver, What does it taste like in comparison with other fruit?
It's really odd, it's got a sort of apple-like texture, though is softer, flavor is a mix between being sweet and sour, though is much more sour when still green. Hard to explain really, so you'll have to try one for yourself one of these days!
Very nice mod but is it possible to make a xray gun that makes them into giants(giants=more dammage)?. And also maybe a dragon you could craft with eye of ender and a pegasus?

Love your wonderful mod, great job continuing it! One thing I would absolutely love seeing, would be when any soldier is struck by lightning, it turns rather large (not giant, just a bit larger, maybe 2 times, 1.5 times larger?), and crackles with electricity, paralyzing every soldier that tries to attack it, and destroying wooden sticks VERY fast, setting them on fire. This rampage lasts for a long time, and also makes them move slightly faster, and more jittery, like sugar, but it is permanant.
Also, I would like seeing is enchantable soldiers. You could make them faster, more resiliant, more powerful, and maybe even fly! Also, you could enchant brick soldiers, and make them able to move, although EXTREMLY slowly. They would be invulnerable, but very strong?
My last idea, would for you to be able to give them a glass pane, and they would break it and incorporate it into their bodies, making them have random razor sharp edges, and hurting their attackers.

Larger soldiers have been turned down many, many times. No. Enchantable soldiers would require that they only stack to one per stack. No. Not sure what you mean by "razor sharp edges". Do you mean that when something touches that soldier, whatever touched it would be harmed?

Now that I think about this, perhaps this might actually be possible to do without changing core classes. Note that I'm thinking out loud here, so don't rage at me about this having been turned down many times. See, if you've seen the RC mod, you could use a system like that. Basically have controllers that sync to different "frequencies". Once a soldier is synced, you simply need to right click a block, and you will go into clay cam. However, you control the soldier. You still move as you move the soldier, so it doesn't change core classes to prevent player movement. The code would merely tap into what keys the player is pressing. It works just like the clay cam, with controls.
Right click a soldier to sync them, right click a block to control, shift to uncontrol. And to remove the frequency, you could make the item able to be put into the crafting grid for a new one with a damage value of 0. Soldiers do not have an inventory. You merely have the ability to left click for PRE-AIMED mainhand weapon, right click for PRE-AIMED offhand, and WASD for movement. To mount a mount, you have to walk at it, without clicking it. The pre-aiming is so that the player doesn't have to go and look up/down, but only has to know when to click and when not to click.
