I have a few suggestions:
*Netherrack, clay soldiers will take 1/2 damage from fire, and cannot be bricked (blaze powder instant pwns them, but no brick soldier) and is not consumed (they cover themselves in dust of the netherrack)
*Soul Sand, clay soldiers dodge 10% of attacks (ghost powers) every hit has 20% chance to scare hit enemy 5 blocks away for 2.5-5 seconds, they have glowing (very bright) red eyes with a black outline and if possible, maybe black horns? Not consumed
I hope these ideas were considerable, I made them on spot and they seem somewhat fair
EDIT: Netherrack would give them red portal particles fall around them every once in a while, and this part might be too powerful, but if netherrack and soulsand is combined then full immunity to fire and only half of their max health is destroyed if hit by blaze powder enemies

If given obsidian (yes I know about your objection to this sort of thing, but we're running out of sensible blocks to use, unless you feel like adding more, you're going to have to use it for SOMETHING) the clays will break off shards of it and throw them like tiny, high speed needles with an amazing degree of force so much, in fact, that clays struck by the needles will be sent flying back and be pinned against the wall for a couple of seconds. however, the rate at which clays carrying shard can throw is SEVERELY hindered compared to other ranged weaponry, to make up for the speed at which they are launched, and despite all that force, the sharpness of the shards almost guarantees that the clay struck won't lose much of it's body when the shard pierces them, so they, for the most part, remain undamaged.
Hey, I have given this idea to Koda before, but he didn't use it. I was wondering if you thought it was cool. I have 2 ideas for new weapons, fire spear and lance. My idea was if you gave the soldiers a torch, they could set other soldiers on fire when they hit them. Also, if you give them an arrow, they use it as a spear with a longer range. Maybe even throw it, but thats up to you.
This is my favorite mod and I am so glad you updated it.
Hello, I just want to say, GREAT mod, I have found myself fooling around with this mod for 'hours'. I can never find an end to the satisfaction of giant lag-less battles of armies and armies of little people, fighting to the death for no exact reason. But one day I was just playing with this mod, and though, "What if they would attack each other's castles or forts?" And that's when I came up with an idea for 'Siege Weapons'! Imagine armies of clay soldiers in organized line formation groups, with a siege ram in front, or a line of soldiers with siege ladders in their hands! I may be going over my own head, but just imagine. They would bust down doors with rams, pour in the fort like water, and even lay down ladders on the walls, storming up and over the walls and into the fort. All while that is going on, there would clay archers on the walls, firing down as the others make there way towards the base. Sheer awesome, I would say. Oh well, I may just be going a bit too far in my imagination. So oh well, thank you to whoever for reading this, and If you have read any of my other posts, you would now just how imaginative I could get for games like Minecraft. Peace!

Cactus: If this is to be used like iron, the soldier wouldn't be able to ride anything. So basically it's a turtle that provides no defense?
Glass Bottles: I'm going to decline both halves of this. We've already got a planned use for empty glass bottles, and we've already said no to any kind of headwear.
Obsidian: So... it's a stronger and slower version of using gravel in combination with slime balls?

Siege weapons likely won't happen. As for your ladders, either that would make us have to provide a new ladder block (not happening) or the soldiers would have to learn to place and climb regular ladders. This could cause a lot of unintended bugs on the latter part. By the way, we're not giving them bows either.

Yellow? Girl? No, the only hidden girl soldiers on on pink, orange, and green. The rare one for yellow is Ziclag, who is a slime in a suit. Herobrine is on light blue.
