SuperFlat++ :
Normal SuperFlat is only 3 blocks deep I know that's not deep enough for most builders so I made a simple mod(not really simple mod anymore at least to me)
that adds new textbox that allows you to enter a custom world Height for SuperFlat your able to enter any number from 1 to 128.
New version released i have added a block type feature that allows you to show what block the superFlat world types uses (includes the normal superFlat).
You choose what block you want on the create world screen under "more world options" its called "Block Type:".
Don't worry the world saves know what block type its using.

you will need NBTedit
1.open the world you want to fix (select the "level.dat" file)
2.expand the "Data" tree
3.Select Data tree
3.click on the light orange dot(int) in the toolbar
4. name the new int WorldHeight
5. click on WorldHeight and then click on the pencil on the toolbar
6. enter the Height that your world was (4,32,64,128)
7.click on generatorName and click on the pencil
8. enter flat.
9.click on save
Congrats your flat world is fix now you can play on your world

Hey guys here is my new mod called Crystal Storage its a mod that stores your xp lvls into crystal balls
there are 6 new items in this mod empty crystal ball , lvl5,lvl10,lvl15,lvl20,lvl25 crystal balls.
The empty crystal ball is made like this (top ,middle , bottom) [X+X] [+X+] [X+X] "X" = Gold Blocks "+" =
glass blocks.
When the empty crystal ball is used you will get a crystal ball depending on what your lvl is (can't be
used below lvl5) aka lvl5 to lvl9 you will get a lvl5 crystal ball, lvl10 to lvl14 you will the lvl10 crystal
ball, ect.
when the crystal balls are used they are consumed and you get your lvls back.

... so if I post 10 mods without a picture one will be virus? I don't really think that there is some allmighty creature that turns every 10th mod without a screen-shot into a virus. And actually he could just make a screenshot from the normal superflat world... because all you see is dirt.
The 10% chance thing is probably related to the fact that one out of every 10 mods uploaded that do NOT contain pictures to verify the mods authenticity are viruses, that is the person who uploaded the 'mod' actually uploaded a virus and intended to use the guise of a mod to distribute it.
As for the screenshot the modder would need to only dig away a portion of the flatworld so that we can see both that the world is indeed flat and that it is x blocks deep. I know that this would not be proof positive that it is not a virus but it does contribute to credibility that the modder was willing to go through the amount of work to prove its authenticity.
Nice idea, any chance of adding the option for selecting which block to use? I'd prefer Stone or cobble stone myself, Perhaps a thought for adding the option of grid pattern with glowstone for lights.

The only Bug I've found is With the Glowstone, It crashed, Then when I reloaded the world, It was really laggy for a short sec, But now its fine! And I'm restarting my Slime free town! ^^

Yeah...I've only tested out the Ice world, and Glowstone, I'll try the others later, :smile.gif:
Love the sandstone superflats, now I can test my builds without random animals trying to shove me into the lava traps :smile.gif:
Just 2 requests:
1) When you figure out the chunk border in a different block allow us to chose which block please. (can just see a glowstone border in a glowstone superflat - hhmmm... "Now which row of glowstone was the chunk border?")
2) Can the sand/sandstone worlds be set as dessert biome? I hate building in the rain.

Glass, Sand, and all blocks from the Nether lag me. And sometimes doing the Default generation (Not Superflat) Will freeze me. But besides that its fine!

New Sprites based on the slimeball sprite.

Changed the recipe for empty crystal ball to (top ,middle , bottom) [X+X] [+X+] [X+X] "X" = Gold Blocks "+" = glass blocks.
The crystal balls can now be found in the misc tab in creative

Pics? Really? You can't visualize a perfectly flat world that's 32 or 64 blocks deep?
if the is no pictures there is i think a 10% chance of it being a virus
Edit: or it was a lower chance im not to sure.
The 10% chance thing is probably related to the fact that one out of every 10 mods uploaded that do NOT contain pictures to verify the mods authenticity are viruses, that is the person who uploaded the 'mod' actually uploaded a virus and intended to use the guise of a mod to distribute it.
As for the screenshot the modder would need to only dig away a portion of the flatworld so that we can see both that the world is indeed flat and that it is x blocks deep. I know that this would not be proof positive that it is not a virus but it does contribute to credibility that the modder was willing to go through the amount of work to prove its authenticity.

I'll try to make a option that changes the blocks the get generated but i'm still learning java so the grid pattern might take awhile.
The new version 1.5 added the ability to choose what block the superFlat world Type is hopefully that what your wanted
The only Bug I've found is With the Glowstone, It crashed, Then when I reloaded the world, It was really laggy for a short sec, But now its fine! And I'm restarting my Slime free town! ^^
ya i notice GlowStone lags also grass blogs on all layers lags to that's what i didn't set default to grass blocks. If you find other blocks lag let me know.
Yeah...I've only tested out the Ice world, and Glowstone, I'll try the others later, :smile.gif:
Just 2 requests:
1) When you figure out the chunk border in a different block allow us to chose which block please. (can just see a glowstone border in a glowstone superflat - hhmmm... "Now which row of glowstone was the chunk border?")
2) Can the sand/sandstone worlds be set as dessert biome? I hate building in the rain.

Glass, Sand, and all blocks from the Nether lag me. And sometimes doing the Default generation (Not Superflat) Will freeze me. But besides that its fine!
odd i do testing before i release any updates but i'm on win xp and it works fine but i don't have any linux system to test it on
