My buddy's having this problem. When we're playing my server, every time I break or place a block in the game world, his world goes transparent until he breaks a block in turn. Only happens with the mod active. Anyone know of a fix?
So I looked around this thread a bit. Did some searching for "crisp" and "offset". Even tried editing the files directly. But I can't seem to find a way to get rid of the strange shadow offset on blocks. You know the one I'm talking about? How the shadow doesn't start at the top of the block. It instead starts 10% down the block and 10% shifted to the left.

It is known, and done on purpose. Having the shadows properly aligned with the blocks caused artefacts, so they are offset by a small amount to fix that.
Hi. Can anybody please help me. I love this shader mod but I have a problem. Whenever I move (quickly or slowly), I get a lot of noises like shown in the picture below. I installed it correctly and I have optifine. Can somebody help me on this? (In the pics, I moved quickly so you can really see the noise)
I would REALLY love to install this great shader. Sadly the Installer does not work for me.

I used a completely new Minecraft Installation, with only OptiFine installed.
The OptiFine Version I use is: "OptiFine HD D2 Standard for Minecraft 1.1"
I installed it with and without Magic Installer.
My OS is:
Windows 7 64Bit Professional
My System components are:
Intel Core 2 Duo, 2876 MHz
6 GB Ram
ATI Radeon HD 5700 1GB
Java Version 1.6.
Catalyst Version is 12.1, which seems to be the newest one.
I use a normal UserAccount for everything Minecraft-related, only the Shader Installer demands my Admin-Password. If that could have anything to do with it...

We have gone t-to far. Man was not meant for this...
I use a pile of other mods so I was surprised when this worked without a hitch. Purely amazing. My laptop hates me now though and I think I may have to move minecraft over to my desktop computer for the sack of a lagless experience. Does this support bump-mapped texture packs?

My Minecraft looks like that when i installed the shaders (no optifine).
It's inside your minecraft.jar, in the shader folder.
Is there a compatible version of modloader ?
And can I change the appearance of the shadows ? To make the corners to be squared, and not rounded like it is by default ?
I deactivated the blur.
Please.

Pretty much a rough estimation. If you get less than 100-150 fps in minecraft normally with maxed out detailing, don't try to run this mod.

What are your pc specs? Specifically your graphics card?
