Hey Sonic, this seems like the BEST shaders ever!!!! I am impressed and i congratulate you, but sadly, I can't use it, because when i select the shaders, this happens:
I suare I did everything it said on the forum, I even watched some tutorials, to see if i could fix it, but i can't, pls help me, I need this for machinimas
Not sure if anyone saw this so I'm posting this. Any help is appreciated!
This is "not" an issue with SEUS or the shader core, it's OptiFine. This bug is on the OptiFine page and tells you how to fix it. You need to Disable "Threaded Optimisation" in your Nvidia or AMD control panel.
NO! YOU GET A BETTER COMPUTER! THE SHADER IS LAGGY BECAUSE IT HAS THE MOST FEATURES AND EFFECTS AND YOUR PC ISN'T POWERFUL ENOUGH TO RUN IT, IF WE MAKE IT LESS LAGGY IT WON'T LOOK ANYWHERE NEAR AS GOOD.
SO USE ANOTHER SHADER PACK THAT ISN'T AS HIGH-END AS THIS ONE.
P.S. Sorry my caps-lock button must be stuck on as well same as yours
So I have everything working fine for this Shaderpack, but one problem and it's kinda annoying when I look up at it. I have the shaders clouds in the background which you can see nicely and then infront of it there is the normal blocky minecraft clouds which are causing it to look a bit glitchy.
Well just turn off Clouds in the ingame settings! Seems pretty obvious
I'm using a Radeon R9 270x and I'm not able to get more than 40 FPS. Without the shader I get more than 150 FPS. Is that a normal reaction or is it possible to get more FPS for a stable gameplay?
If you are running at 1080p or higher and using SEUS Ultra then yes this is about right. A 290x only gets around 60fps with this shader pack. It is extremely demanding due to all the effects it has.

Here you go:
CRASH ON START UP AND/OR BLACK SCREEN WITH SMALL BOXES IN THE BOTTOM CORNER FIX
LAPTOP AND NOTEBOOK USERS:
You need to open your Nvidia or AMD Control Panel and set the "Preferred Graphics Processor" to Nvidia or AMD, NOT: Auto or Intel. Do this "Globally", not just for Minecraft.
If you do not have either an Nvidia or AMD Control Panel then please read the guide below for: PC USERS ONLY.
PC USERS:
The descriptions and instructions for this mod, that you were supposed to read "Before" installing them, very clearly say: "You need a modern and very powerful Graphics Card to run a shader." "Intel HD Graphics are "Not" compatible with SEUS."
If you are "Not" using Intel HD and "Do" have a proper dedicated Nvidia or AMD graphics card but you still get the black screen or crashing, then please skip the next paragraph.
Intel HD: Intel HD Graphics are not designed for modern gaming because they are "Not" a Graphics Card, they are an "iGPU". This means it's a small part of your Processor/CPU that just "Acts" like, or "Pretends" to be a Graphics Card.
Intel HD is very weak, it's designed to give you enough graphical power to watch a movie, YouTube video or play a basic game, not for running extremely complex and demanding graphical mods like shaders. Some shaders like this one require more graphical power to run them than an entire game does like Battlefield or Skyrim.
For people "Not" using Intel HD one of the following is the cause of the issue: 1# - Your PC's graphics card is not powerful enough or is too old. The mods description clearly says you need a "Modern and very powerful graphics card!" 2# - Your graphics card driver is out of date. Update it to the latest version from your manufactures website. 3# - The wrong or an out dated version of the GLSL Shader Core mod is installed. 4# - You have mod installed or a setting that is causing an incompatibility.
Feel free to post on the SEUS thread if you want more info about whether your graphics card (Nvidia or AMD/ATI) is compatible.
There are some very basic and low-end Shaders available on Minecraft.net forum that might work with old or low powered cards and Intel HD.
MAC USERS:
If you had read the mods description you would have seen that it clearly says: "The author of SEUS Shader-pack has no access to a Mac, so is unable to provide Mac support at this time."
Been covered hundred times on the thread already so much so that I've added the fix to my Bug Fixes and Improvements Guide in my signature.
P.S. If you are playing at 1080p resolution I highly recommend you run SEUS Standard and not Ultra, because your FPS is going to be below 30fps which isn't playable. If you are running res lower than 1080p you might be ok with Ultra.
Hi, while I am using my Shadders of this. I have a black screen. Can not see a thing, besides the action bar and Crosshairs. My build isn't even 3 months old. This shouldn't be happening. I have all my drivers up-to-date. Help!

There is an on going issue with the 750, 750Ti, and 850m, they seem to have major driver issues that have not yet been fixed by Nvidia. Hundreds of reports are around about these cards having issues in lots of different games. This could be the result of that issue.
Well thank you for that. I have read from a few different sites about some graphics cards having issues but, noone saying anything about the 750s. I was hoping that this wasn't the case. Well damn, I hope they can fix these issues soon. Thank you.

I'm having a few issues, some of which may be intended, but if not, or if there's a method of modifying for my preferences, help'd be greatly appreciated:
1. When the setting sun is around 50% into the horizon (game time of around 12700), it instantly "shuts off," basically turning into the moon, and any remaining orange snaps into blue, rather than fading away. At the same time, as the moon rises, it snaps into the brightness and orangeness of the sun. After ten seconds, or so, the moon fades into its expected color and brightness.
2. I'm unable to visually distinguish the sun from the light and clouds around it, as it appears as a large blur of light:
3. When the sun is overhead, sand, among other blocks, is bright enough to the point I'm unable to distinguish the texture of a block right in front of me:

I think #1 is a "bug" that is a side result of the shaders. Think of it not as a bug but as undesirable behavior. 2 and 3 happen everywhere too, but I think files can be changed to fix them. I'm not familiar with the new shaders code.

Is a bug, not much we can do until 10.2 is ready.
Can be easily tweaked in the config files
Can also be easily tweaked in the config files
To reduce the overall ambient light from the sun, follow this guide:
Open "composite.fsh" with Notepad++ (NOT standard Microsoft Notepad, only use Notepad++)
Locate line "2225", which reads:
Reducing the number will reduce the ambient light. Depending on how bright your monitor is the changes may be subtle so you may need to lower it significantly.
To reduce the Sun's actual surface brightness, do this:
7.0f is the number to reduce to lower the actual suns surface brightness, again you may need to reduce it a lot if you have low quality or very bright monitor.
Hope this helps, let me know how you get on.

Everything seems to be working fine in Minecraft 1.7.10. I'm using Forge 1184 with 2x GTX 660s in SLI (not that SLI makes a difference in Minecraft) using the 337.88 driver. This gbuffers_weathers thing. Also the v10.1 download links for standard, ultra, etc arn't working. The only 10.1 link that worked was the preview 2.
