I don't know which one to download :\ Also, are they only 1.7.5 compatible?
(I currently use 1.7.2)
Every version of SEUS is compatible with 1.7.2, SEUS is compatible with "Any" version of Minecraft, you just need to have the correct version of the GLSL Shader Core mod to match your version of Minecraft for it to work.
ShadersMod is not compatible with the latest Intel driver.
Older Intel drivers that end with .32xx or .33xx work (with some shaderpack but not SEUS though). But the newer drivers .34xx crash when used with ShadersMod.
Ah thats probably why, would you recommend i downgrade to the older drivers to use shaders? (I.E it wont affect my other games and media that i have to run)?
Arhh there you go, karyonix very kindly just gave you the reason why. And I do understand what you are saying, the basic or Lite shaders should run on Intel HD, but you really can not compare a game like Skyrim or Max Payne to SEUS, because SEUS is much much more demanding.
To give you an example, I can run Skyrim on default Ultra settings at 1080p with 300+fps, even with a few hundred mods installed including a ton of 4K texture packs and UGrids on 9, I can still stay way above 100fps.
But running SEUS Ultra at 1080p with the render distance only on 8 (Normal) I can not get 100fps, in fact it drops below 60fps when it's raining and sometimes below 50fps in the Nether.
Thank you karyonix, I wasn't aware of the latest Intel drivers causing an issue.
Regards
I did try the lite version of 10.0 and it still crashes but thanks again for your help. Im sorry if i came off as rude in my prior reply its just that i have searched all over google and could not find anyone else who had a similar issue and on top of that i had attempted everything from redownloading minecraft and installing shaders to attempting to update my drivers etc. all to no avail. I had no idea shaders were really that demanding, i can understand that a lot is required to run it but had no idea it was more demanding than most games. anyway thanks again and as i asked Karyonix would you recommend i downgrade to the 32XX or 33XX versions of Intel driver and try shaders then? would it interfere or mess up any of my other games and or media? thanks again for your help.

No need to say sorry, I completely understood what you meant and it wasn't taken in a rude way don't worry
Yes if Karyonix says the latest Intel driver causes issues with the shader core then take that as Fact, if it regards the Shader Core itself then he would know better than anyone.
I can't see you noticing any difference with the previous driver version, just role back one version and you shouldn't see any difference in other games, except if the latest Intel driver had "One" specific large update/optimisation for one particular game that you play. But even if it did, it only takes 30 seconds to install a driver, I'm forever installing the latest Nvidia driver to play one game, Wolfenstein TNO and DayZ in particular at the moment, then when I want to play Minecraft, quickly installing a driver from a month or two ago, find them more stable, and away you go
When you have rolled back to an earlier driver, I would still only try the recommended Intel supported shaders, SEUS 10.1 Lite, 10.0 Lite definitely won't work unless you play at a very low resolution, and I don't think 9.0 or 8.0 will work either, but 8.0 doesn't look that great anyway.
If you need anything else, feel free to ask dude, it's no trouble.

You may try Surface Pro 2 Intel Driver .3368 from JonnyBrando with bump-shadow-waving shaderpack or Sildur's shaders. (There is no need to try SEUS v10.x. They do not work on Intel. Older SEUS v8-v9 also do not work on intel without some edit.)
The slightly-older driver should not interfere with other games but I don't really know. If it does not work well with other games, it should be easy to re-install newer driver again.

The above downloads came from Microsoft.com/Downloads after searching for Surface Pro Drivers and Firmware. I like to think that I can be trusted to re-pack them, but if you prefer to get them from the source, be my guest ;).

CRASH ON STARTUP AND/OR BLACK SCREEN WITH SMALL BOXES IN THE BOTTOM CORNER FIX
LAPTOP USERS ONLY!
You need to open your Nvidia or AMD Control Panel and set the "Preferred Graphics Processor" to Nvidia or AMD, NOT: Auto or Intel. Do this "Globally", not just for Minecraft.
If you do "Not" have either an Nvidia or AMD Control Panel then please read the guide below for: PC USERS ONLY.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PC USERS ONLY!
The descriptions and instructions for this mod, that you were supposed to read "Before" installing them, very clearly say:
"You need a modern and very powerful Graphics Card to run a shader."
"Intel HD Graphics are "Not" compatible with SEUS."
Intel HD is not designed for gaming because it is "Not" a Graphics Card, it's an iGPU. This means it's a small part of your Processor/CPU that "ACTS" like a very low powered Graphics Card.
Intel HD is very weak, it's designed to give you enough graphical power to watch a movie, YouTube video or play a basic game, not for running extremely complex and demanding graphical mods.
If you are "Not" using Intel HD and "Do" have a proper dedicated Nvidia or AMD graphics card but you still get the black screen or crashing, then in most cases it's caused by one of the following:
1# - Your PC's graphics card is not powerful enough or is too old. The mods description clearly says you need a "Modern and very powerful graphics card!" 2# - Your graphics card driver is out of date. Update it to the latest version from your manufactures website. 3# - The wrong or an out dated version of the GLSL Shader Core mod is installed. 4# - You have mod installed or a setting that is causing an incompatibility.
Feel free to post on the SEUS thread if you want more info about whether your graphics card (Nvidia or AMD/ATI) is compatible.
There are some very basic and low-end Shaders available on Minecraft.net forum that might work with old or low powered cards and Intel HD.

MAC USERS ONLY!:
If you had read the mods description you would have seen that it clearly says: "The author of SEUS Shader-pack has no access to a Mac, so is unable to provide Mac support at this time."
Hey I was trying to use the mod but when i put the shader on it split the screen into 7 screens each one littler then the last on the bottom left corner and i check and it is installed right
ok I tried twice both times it dident work I would of loved to take a screenshot but it wont let me do anything and itjust comes up with a fuzzy screen and in chat it comes up with 3 errors useing 1.6.4/v10.1 ultra what is hapening thx
I've noticed that the enchantment effect is not animated while using this shader pack. The glow is there, but it does not move in waves across the item as it should. This only happens in the ingame world - my player model in the inventory screen is fine and hotbar items are fine.
It also only happens when I'm using this pack - other packs are working fine and enchanted armor/swords/etc are animated.

I can't make this work properly, it turns out very oddly
A guide on how to fix this problem is in the post "Directly" above yours in big bold letters, and a few posts above that Please use the forum search bar to search a thread before posting, as your question has been asked and answered hundreds and hundreds of times already, 4 times on this one page alone, thank you.

I took your advice and downgraded my driver to 3376 and ran lite version of SEUS shaders and it worked! it looks fabulous i must say and i am thrilled that it finally worked thanks so much for your help! i did try running the standard version but that causes the client to close just like it did last time but atleast the lite version works! again thanks so much for your help
I'm getting the same issue as a lot of other people; black screen with some boxes. Yes, I did read the instructions. I use an ASUS laptop (Windows 8), and I have no idea how to change a graphics processor.

Excellent Glad it's working for you, although I'm very surprised it worked with SEUS Lite. May I ask for future reference what Lite version your used, also what resolution are you running Minecraft at, and finally what render distance are you running??? Plus with all of it working what's your average fps???
So, where can I download the lite version of this? 10.1 lite says it's not yet released and the 10.0 lite download link appears to be rather dead. Standard looks neat, but 15fps makes me fall to my death a bit too often. Usually I'd just wait for 10.1 lite to appear here, but since ironman just posted he's using lite it has to be available somewhere. =p
10.1 Lite is in Beta but is nearly ready, it looks very good, ironman216 was either referring to 10.0 or 8.0 Lite, only one or two of us have access to the Betas. The links for all versions of 10.0 and 8.0 are currently down due to adfoc.us server issues that seem to be taking forever to get fixed.
I think ironman216 might have already downloaded the Lite version before the links when down.
(I currently use 1.7.2)
