I don't know if everyone is having the same problem, but whenever I start Minecraft (using the newest SEUS shaders), it turn into a blackscreen with small little squares at the corner? is it my graphic card?
Can anybody help me with this? I am using Preview 2 but the real V10.1 just crashes. (Specs at bottom)
Nothing really seem right here
The bloom is REALLY glitchy

This may be obscure and not the cause but, I have a Razer kraken 7.1 and a Razer Naga epic, and some kinda cheap Logitech keyboard
I have no idea what other specs I have to put on there, but if you need me to add anything, tell me.
Try updating your Catalyst (graphics driver), it's probably out of date. This is a common bug with out of date drivers.
Let me know if it fixes it or not.

I only have a minor "Problem". When I close my Minecraft and start it again, the Shaders are reseted to the internal Minecraft Shaders. How can I avoid that ?
Hmmm, I've had this happen to me as well, but I thought it was just me because no one else had mentioned it. I'll have a look and if I find a fix I will PM your inbox.
Can you please add an option that adds volumetric clouds (like the first clouds in the early seus v10.1 before the 2-D clouds)
The volumetric clouds are still in the coding, they were just disabled as Cody (Sonic Ether) thought the performence hit didn't justify the visual benefit.
Check out this thread on the SonicEther site, it should help with how to enable them and minimise the performance loss: Sonic Ether.com
Hi MacNut, sorry my bad. Unfortunately no, I can't find the post :-\ I was sure it was on SE.com but I can't find it. And my browser is set to not save history =(
Sorry dude, just post the question on SE.com, I'm sure someone will know.
Ok. While waiting for you to respond yesterday, I looked at other peoples problems and found some ways to actually fix some of my other ones. I might post a link to my version of SEUS once i find a fix to the clouds. You're awesome and thanks for the help!
I changedd from Intel HD Graphics Family to NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M, both stock/prebuilt in the computer. I deactivated the Intel one and the geforce one got on automatically. I also updated the geforce driver both from device manager and with geforce experience, they both say it's up to date. But it doesn't work. I get this crash report when launching Minecraft 1.7.9:

Everything else seems to be working fine, but I can't even change my brightness.
I finally managed to get the 2D cloud layer to appear above/behind the volumetric clouds so I can have them both on at the same time without either of them looking out of place, but only the 2D cloud layer seems to affect the overall light level when it obscures the sun. Is there a way to make the 3D volumetric clouds affect lighting when they pass in front of the sun the way the 2D clouds do?
On a possibly related note, only the 2D cloud layer seems to be reflecting off of water. Is there a way to make volumetric clouds do this as well?
Thanks, and sorry if these questions have been answered already. I couldn't seem to find them anywhere.
How on earth did you get them to look nice together? Could you post some screenshots of them both together please? I have been searching for a fix to this for a while and would like to know how you did it.

Thank you.
Currently is DoF and Motion Blur not together for a reason?
In my computer clouds cover the sun althe day and so i don't get any shadow...
This clouds also cause lag... any body can tell me how to delete them.
( sorry for my bad english i'm from italy )
If you disable all clouds, I believe the sun still dims as if the clouds are still there. (Not confirmed as I have not tried it but that is what people have told me)

I'm not 100% sure if the Motion Blur version has DoF enabled, as I hate motion blur so I haven't used it. Try it and if it does "not" have DoF enabled I will tell you how to enable it.
[Update] I just looked at the code for the Motion Blur version and DoF is Disabled.
Guild to enable DoF:
Open the .zip folder with WinRAR or WinZip,
Open the "final.fsh" file with Notepad++ (Not standard Notepad)
Scroll down to line "758" and change "//DepthOfField(color);" to "DepthOfField(color);"
Save and exit.

Whats the latest version? I got 12.3, and its not saying I need to update even when I manually check for updates.
I know, that's my point You said you're using MC version 1.7.9!! Nothing is compatible with 1.7.9, so what do you expect hehe
No I didn't. I showed you both the crash reports from when lanching normal minecraft 1.7.9 profile and forge profile, if you would just read the whole thing before answering.

Anyone get this to work? I've done some major tweaking on the cloud gen in 10.1 and have never been able to get the height (altitude), depth ( cloud thickness), or density (total coverage) to work right. Clouds are always 20-22 blocks thick and have the same coverage percent regardless of what is in the .fsh file.

I did notice that the vec4 function CloudColor is defined twice, once above and once below the "CalculateClouds" function. Is that normal?
