Looking for a shaders mod compatible with OF UD5 and MC 1.5.2 Forge build 738. <.<
>.> can't seem to find this so anyone can guide me or clarify that there is no such thing yet?
There isn't anything that is compatible with OF UD5 yet, just OF UD3.
Latest working version of forge is 734, if you go to 735-738 you get an issue where you can't climb ladders (might be fixed in later versions?).
Anybody know how to enable motion blur for 10.0 Lite? Thanks
Not sure if it is even possible there boss..
All of the motion blur code appears to be in FINAL.FSH in the Ultra version. This file does not even exist in the Lite version.
Looks like you're probably out of luck, unless you can do some really serious GLSL coding and build your own custom FINAL.FSH/VSH for the Lite version.
Anyway to make SSAO more noticeable? I respect Sonic's choice for very subtle SSAO, but I do personally like darner corners. Not sure what to change in the shaders to darken them.
I was running 738 and still having ladder issues. I rolled back to 729 before I got them to work again, so it doesn't appear to be fixed yet.
I'm using 734 without any issues at all, from what I can tell, it's the latest one that works properly.
If you're happy with 729, givver, as long as it works :)!
Oh, I see you're point .. 738 is the latest build for MC 1.5.2 .. all of the builds released after that are 1.6.X! So, ya, 734 is the latest build of Forge for MC 1.5.2 that works properly (ladders, etc working) with Optifine.
I get around 12-15 FPS using standard, and I have an AMD A10 4600m APU with an AMD Radeon HD 7660G GPU. I'm not thinking I'll get 60fps, but at least a playable 30 would be great, I really want to use this. Can anyone help me?
I have the same AMD A10 4600m APU with an AMD Radeon HD 7660G GPU, but my fps with Sonic Ethe v10.0 Ultra DoF are around 18-24fps, what is your optifine configuration? are you playing on fullscreen or windowed?

I play windowed with almost default optifine configurations. Optifine never made a big difference for me, so I only use it because it's required.

At least I can update a little more. I jumped back kind of far and 729 worked, so I didn't want to push my luck by trying to go any more recent, now I can. Thanks!
Dude, you want help ... How am I supposed to help if you won't follow instructions?
You've got to give me a hand here...
Just, screenie the dang window please, come on!
Did you try updating Java on that MAC of yours as I suggested? Roll back your nV drivers as multiple ppl suggested?
*******************************
This generally happens if Optifine and GLSL are switched around. Optifine must come first, and GLSL Shaders second.
It could also be that Optifine is Standard and not Ultra, but usually the above.

You should be able to get ~45 FPS with that graphics card, it'll do you just fine.
The CPU and RAM are mostly irrelevant when it comes to MC. It'll help with large texture packs. That's about it..
The only drivers I can get are Cuda drivers. I dont have a beta one.
I went to the java website, installed java. When I go into Minecraft, it still says I have java 6. There is an update for java in the mac appstore, but only to java 6.1!
Link is broken. Mediafire is die. Upload to elsewhere.
No, Mediafire cannot die it was not a living being to begin with, and you cannot order Sonic to upload to another file provider just because mediafire doesn't work for you.

"Yeah I do." "Oh."

Away from computer...
Hmm, not sure how old your mac is, but I did a Google search to see if I can come up with drivers. It appears that there are newer drivers than those available from Apple/Bootcamp.
Oracle Java for OS-X is highly unstable, resource hogging, incompatible and it has SERIOUS security issues.
Unless you have some very good and reliable anti-virus software that you know specializes in Java, stick with the Apple releases.
And if you do decide to use Oracle Java, it's hard to go back. And by that I mean it's next to impossible to uninstall without breaking Java altogether.

If it doesn't work for him, it doesn't work for anybody. Just saying.

Hmm, good to know! I don't run a MAC, never have, and never will. I don't do photography or video editing at all, if I want to, I can use my tablet. So, I just don't see the need to spend that kind of money, plus, my job generally provides a decent notebook for me to use between work & home..
I did some research on Oracle Java for MACOS before posting, I didn't find anything offensive, but Windows is so open to bugs and crap that I suppose I'm used to the warnings that were posted ;)!
As such, I don't know the latest Java available from Apple? Is Java6 all that was 'officially' released by Apple? The later releases of Java7 (anything after say 12-15) are just as stable as Java6 ... they need to get back on the bandwagon here..
How are those screenshots coming along of MagicLauncher and your shaderpacks folder? Mind you, I don't believe your setup is the problem, I just want to be able to get that out of the way. Optifine UD3 loads before SEUS GLSL 2.00 in the logs, which is proper.
The errors with loading the shaders appears to refer to the video drivers and OpenGL support. Hence why I've been pushing video drivers and Java so hard..
Unless for some reason the GLSL Shaders can't uncompress the ZIP that the shaders is in? You could try to uncompress the ZIP into a folder within the shaderpacks directory. <minecraft\shaderpacks\seus v10.0 ultra\shaders\*.fsh & *.vsh>

No, I have tried both unziped and zipped. No.
It turns out I actually have 310.xxxx drivers... (Snooper settings )
My setup is FINE, nothing wrong with it and it looks like all of the videos on youtube, i also exactly followed sonics instructions.

I'm looking into the shader files to see if I can hunt down the gamma/brightness. It used to be right at the beginning of final, but it's buried somewhere now..
Thanks. I hate having to turn the shader off when I visit these places, and there's really no solution to my building interiors except to put torches everywhere. I'd love to see the Nether shaded!
Just in case it's supposed to look like this (I hope not), here's my Nether. It's literally so dark, that if I turn away from the lava I can't see anything at all:

go to video options>others> reset video settings, now put "render distance" on short+16, and in quality if you want, activate clear water.

Clear water was already on, and with the render distance on short I'm getting 12-19 fps, but it's still bad to play this way. :/
