i suppose its not compatible with FTB? i have installed the core mod and it works, as well as optifine, however when i select the shader nothing changes, ill keep fiddling, but any idea if other mods cause a conflict? or maybe its the way FTB installs the mod.

This mod is awesome. But for my computer I get to see a 2 FPS slide show...
Gonna upgrade my comp in the future. Can some of you guys tell me your specs and your FPS?
i7 870 @ 3.6, 8 GB RAM, HD 7770. 3 GB allocated. Render distance normal + 96, everything else max except AA and AF, those don't work. Shader settings here.

With FPS++, ToK, DRPG, jerry's mod, lava decay, WMLL, HUDini, 30 fps. Too laggy for me, getting a HD 7950, might get more.
When I enable SUES shaders, all my tools and items (that arent square blocks) get white blocks around them where it should be transparent..
Another (not as critical issue) is that with the SEUS shaders mod, sometimes the world doesnt render correctly or takes a long time to render certain parts (as seen in pic) Any quick fix?
The loading times seem to vary with each version of the Karyonix mod, one thing which will definitely speed things up is setting chunk loading to multi-core, but doing that gives you a chance of chunks not loading at all or disappearing completely.
The squares look to be a problem with the alpha channel either in a setting in the shaders or with the texture pack, does it do that on all texture packs? It may be just a coincidence but the only people I've seen complaining about this have had AMD cards, I have nvidia so I can't replicate the problem.
Ok I'll try the multicore chunks.. I'm not using any texture pack besides the default. Trying different versions of SEUS just makes it worse, because then, for some reason, ALL transparent textures turn white, even in the world itself, not just the ones I hold.
Can you do me a favour and put the file in this zip into your texture pack's gui folder and replace the items.png that's already in there.
I'm wondering if the transparency was saved to a transparency layer rather than the alpha channel, if it makes no difference there's no harm done. http://www.mediafire...de8ujyr45yj9zv9
Just did it.. the only thing that changed was now with no shaders on at all, the white block is still there, as opposed to it only being there with the shaders enabled :/
Strange, the only thing I changed was the setting to load/save transparency to the alpha channel rather than layer transparency
So it would seem that for some reason, your settings changes anything transparent to white
How would I fix this though? Maybe try a different version of SEUS? or maybe its the GLSL shaders? Other versions dont seem to work though
Hi,
I just installed the Shaders mod for the first time and I get this strange black lighting glitch on every surface.... the water also appears to be gone....
I am on OSX Mountain Lion
Macbook pro mid 2012
Intel HD 4000
8 GB of RAM
2.9 Ghz i7 processor
Sorry I do not have a picture I cannot figure out where to upload it
Anything with Intel HD should come with a warning that it's not really suitable for anything more taxing than Angry Birds and running videos.
Try these shaders, at least you might be able to get something running http://www.minecraft...ers-pcmacintel/
Thank you... I did know about the Intel Card being bad... just wanted to give it a shot.... Sorry for the trouble

Just so you have an idea what you're dealing with and don't get any delusions of grandeur, here's a good comparison of your Intel HD 4000 compared to some high-tech powerful video cards. I have an nVidia 650ti, which isn't on the list, but isn't much farther down (the 660ti is on there), and I get noticeable lag running RC7 Ultra, only getting about 18 fps. http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Intel HD 4000&id=2
WTF?! I've just installed it, I did everything right, but IT DOESN'T RECOGNIZE ZIPPED SHADERPACKS!1 I JUST PUT THE .ZIP FILE IN THE SHADERPACKS FILE, AND IT DOESN'T WORK! I have Windows 7.
Gonna upgrade my comp in the future. Can some of you guys tell me your specs and your FPS?
Sure, I've got:
i7 2600k Overclocked to 4.4Ghz
GTX 580 SLI
16GB DDR3 Ram
The rest doesn't matter
For minecraft in general you're cpu bound, but with shaders it's all on the gpu so a good gpu would be nice
Whats your FPS? Well, I'm guessing it's atleast 60 and that's all I want.

EDIT: It does work, I've tried it myself before.
These forums are dumb and break my links. I'm bubbleawsome on steam too.

Good to know, thanks!
