the framerate stays acceptable (50+ imo) as long as i don't approach a fullscreen resolution of 1920x1080. in fullscreen, the fps bottoms out at 30ish and movement is sometimes sluggish.
using a GTX 560 Ti with a 2500k at 4.2ghz.
noticeable bugs (which i'm sure you're long aware of)
-transparent weapon/tool/hand
-grass doesn't sway when multi-core chunk loading is enabled.
-water looks "scratchy" when it's raining
-when destroying blocks, the 'cracks' appear with artifacts
suggestions:
i would prefer it if torches weren't as bright as they are right now. walking into interiors with torches can be overwhelming sometimes.
looking forward to v10 and nvidia compatibility! keep up the great work
i also tried to run this on SLI with inspector but it's problematic. AFR1 and AFR2 produce massive flickering and the framerate tops out at 15.
Intel®
that is your problem!
read the entire first post please?
Yeah, i did. Do you read my post?
I configured Minecraft to run with nvidia, and others who have posted in the topic have managed to make it work, even with using Intel.
I configure javaw.exe to run the nvidia card graphics and the drivers are updated.
My specs:
Windows 7 Home Basic 64-bit
Intel® Core™ i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz (4 CPUs)
4GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 210
Any help? .-.
not sure what the video tells you to do since i can't be bothered to sit through 6 minutes of that but i would suggest starting over and trying this:
1.Clean Minecraft 2.Install Optifine MANUALLY (deleting meta-inf) Important to install Optifine before the shaders 3.Install Glsl Shaders 4.Place v10Rc2 shaders into the shader folder inside bin/minecraft.jar 5.Place v10rc2 SEUS adjusted.zip inside texturepack folder. 6.Open the game and select SEUS adjusted.zip texture pack. 7.Dont use AA or AF filters.
(thanks to Sdar)
failing that, you could try a different driver for your GeForce 210 like 296.10 http://www.geforce.c...ers/beta-legacy
(the latest driver isn't always necessarily the best driver for you. some of them have different artifacts and issues for different games, it's like rolling the dice)
V 1.3.1 minecraft with V10 rc2 shaders work like a charm here, some bugs with the hand / items ( way too bright ) but i suppose
it is already quite known and will be fixed ^^ , i really love it even though the framerate for me is now about 40 fps max xD
Same here. Everything is working like in 1.2.5. I don't have other mods installed since I don't know if they have been updated yet. Also, the only things I've noticed is what I wrote here:
I've just tried shaders v10 with the adjusted John Smith texture pack done by someone else, and so far everything is looking nice. I went ahead to do my shader tweaks I had employed in v8 and three things I've noticed. First, there's no Bloom. I know the comments says its kind of broken in all versions, but I never understood that since it works great in v8. Why not implement that like in v8?
Secondly, I've noticed that the variables to change the speed of leaves are missing, only the "jungle leaves" variables are present. Is Sonic still coding the rest of the leaves movement?
Lastly, I noticed that disabling TONEMAP in the final.fsh file gets rid of the washed out look of the scenery. In fact, without TONEMAP, everything looks much more crisp and clearer, and the nights much better without the ugly color gradient in the sky.
I don't know how much of this is my computer and how much is due to the shaders themselves, but I'm getting an error message running continuously in the background while using v10 which apparently causes Minecraft to lock up after five to ten minutes:
####GL Error####
@ Post render
1282: Invalid Operation
The 1.3.1 release of the GLSL shaders runs well, but I can't seem to pinpoint what leads to this error once SEUS are applied. I have plenty of memory available when the game locks up, so it isn't a memory related issue. Previous releases of these shaders have run well on my machine, but I know a lot has changed since then.
Any ideas as to what may be causing this to happen?
I tried messing around with v10, but many things (besides held tools/items/blocks) appear really red/bright. Is this because it's still being updated, or is there a setting I can tweak to try and make things right? No intel or nvidia here btw

this is an optifine bug, your shell will be spammed with this when loading regardless of glsl.

Traditional beauty, but this was just the original texture pack at the time.
I went ahead and edited the texturepack to work with 1.3.1 (well all i did was copy/paste the proper files)

Maybe you have Vertical Sync on?
