Sorry if this has been posted before (I looked around)
How do I make nights less dark in SEUS Renewed 1.0.0? It's basically unplayable without manually changing the gamma to max (which makes days too bright).
All the tutorial videos I found online about SUES refer to a composite.fsh setting which doesn't seem to exist in this version. If it's not possible to fix it for this shader pack, can someone recommend me another set of shaders that do allow tweaking night brightness?
You're not the first to notice that (nor am I). I think M1n3r2011 was the first to mention it in this thread, but others might have noticed it earlier for other shaders.
I see now. thank you for the clarification. I was trying to google it to see if anyone else had this, but I guess I suck at googling things. Thanks again!
Does anyone know how i can fix this problem I have with the lighting? When I look at the sun everything gets really dark and if I look at a dark block everything gets really bright..
that is an effect that has the shaders themselves, which is an adaptation of the lighting to see better the areas that the character is pointing, as long as you point at the sun, the rest will be obscured by this effect, do not worry
Download and use the latest OptiFine (1.12.2_HD_U_D2)
I think the problem is because I do not update the drivers of my graphics card, and I put the ones I had on a disk inside the graphics card box, I will try to update the drivers when I change the internal components of my computer as the processor, which could be this coming week, I hope to be lucky

That's right, but the transition must be softened, but that's not the case in this person
Hello.... i love your Shader but i have one Problem...but its a generally Shader Problem...
Is there any way to geht the Light Level Overlay working with Shaders? I cant see it when i use shader ands that not good. Have tried the Mod Light Levels Reloaded...its flickering and i cant see it, more overlays wont work too with shader...please say that there is a solution for that...
something you can build in the shader or whatever?
If ANYONE doesn't know if they should get this shaderpack, I might help a little bit! So, I downloaded it (I already have OptiFine) and put the file on my desktop. And then, I put it in the "shaderpacks" folder. Logged onto Minecraft, didn't work. Went to the menu, options, and then shaders. I saw his shaders and I adjusted it the way I wanted it. My screen turned gray for a few seconds and there it was. The most beautiful shaderpack I have EVER seen. Glad to help anyone if I did! (Just to clearify this does work and it's AMAZING!)

Considering the fact that it has been around for 5+ years, is reputed to be 'the' highest quality Minecraft shader out there, is more widely used than any other shader, and has over 1,500 pages of posts on this thread, I'm pretttyyy sure many millions of Minecrafters are well aware that SEUS functions perfectly.
I mean, welcome to the SEUS club, I guess? Lol. I hope you enjoy using them.

Anybody else having problems with the enchanted item effect looking buggy? Here is what I mean: https://imgur.com/z8865Hp. I am using a GTX 960 2GB and an i5-4460 with Windows 10. It is not a problem with the texture pack as it does the same thing with vanilla textures. I am not using any mods except OptiFine (obviously) and Xaero's Minimap. Any help is appreciated.
Edit: Turning off TAA seems to get rid of it in 3rd person, although the effect has no animation. It still looks buggy in the inventory screen though.
Some lights don't seem to smooth properly; I'd thought maybe this was an issue with GI settings but nothing seems to affect it, and the issue doesn't seem to appear in other peoples' screenshots (maybe they're just good at hiding it).
(Yeah, I know, the windows aren't centered right, no bully orz)
Having an Issue with Thaumcraft 6's Thaumometer not rendering transparency through the purple glass. The 3d world model in hand seems to work just fine, but the first person model does not.
This crashes my 1.12.2 MC with Optifine 1.12.2 HD_U_E1
Do I need to use a different version?
The problem was I had a texture pack on first so I had to undo that before I could apply this, then I could turn the textures back on...weird but fixed.
Someone should try this with the Faithful 32x32 texture pack and the No Cubes mod. You could make Minecraft look like real life; no cubes, perfect shadows, realistic clouds, and great-looking grass!
Does anyone know how I can change the opacity of the Water? These shaders are AMAZING but underwater I can't see much of anything. I found a underwater temple or whatever but I can't see.

I still have the same problem with the optifine d2, can I eliminate the effect of water puddles in the shaders?

Why shaders so blur?
it's made to simulate how sunlight makes your vision slightly soft when starring at objects from a distance.

from reading threads i figured out that glowing spiders and endermen are caused by the glowing eye textures affecting the modded skin and whatnot
so was wondering if there's any way to disable/turn off the glowing eye effect? from deleting files or anything else
if not, then well i guess these two will be really easy to spot at night
guardians and elder guardians also seem to be glowing, despite the normal mobs not having any glow effect

Spent 2 hours messing with settings within minecraft, updated java/graphics drivers, messed with AMD settings, messed with monitor settings and...
It still looks like I just got my eyes dilated.
Graphics: Radeon R9 390X Nitro 8GB VRAM
EDIT:
Tweaking some post processing and render quality fixed the issue.
Everything looks great and is running smooth for a Radeon user.
