Ok, Until i installed the multicore version of the optifine the mod have a problem: The terrain flash for some seconds and sometimes i can see underground i will post a screen and a video. I think this problem is caused by the rendering distance. Please help me.
Screen:
Video:
Oh, my specs are
Intel core duo dual core 2,10ghz (T4300) is pretty good
RAM 4GB
Nvidia geforce g102m 512mb cuda
It's a laptop xD
Stop using the multi core Optifine. Worked for me. Switch to the other one. No need to restart from scratch, just overwrite the optifine files, and re-patch.
My installation order:
1.) mcpatcher
2.) modloader
3.) optifine smooth
4.) sonic ether
Instead of selecting the terrain.png's area and using a fill tool, delete the selection and then fill. Your TP has minute detailing that you can't see unless you tilt your monitor. Needs to be complete magenta.

I really enjoy this mod, and I wanted to thank you for creating it. I do encounter some problems while using it.
(I used it on a friend's computer and decided to put it on mine) The shaders don't work for me!
I installed everything correctly, I know it. I get a black screen after the Mojang logo on startup. I was able to get it to work once, but I had about 20 fps, compared to my usual 250-300.
Yes I am using v.08
Computer Specs:
Video Card is nVidia GEForce 9800 GT latest drivers
Intel Core i5-2500K
8.00 GB of RAM
Windows 7 64-Bit
Is there anything I can do, or is my graphics card not strong enough?
Can someone please upload the Photorealism 256x Terrain.png (isn't that the only file you need to use the shader?)? I don't have photoshop or other photo editors D:
Yes, but I completely suck at doing this. I get artifacts, I think I'm doing something wrong, if someone could post the terrain.png for photorealism 256 it would make life MUCH easier for me.

Has anyone tried this with LB Photo Realism and noticed the swords and axes ect have a slight distrotion on the side that makes them "3D" so to speak, that causes that side to have lines, and not the colour, and is transparent, is there a fix?

I keep getting a strange glitch whenever I look at the sun, a bunch of random pixels flash around the screen and you can barely see anything, the shadows seem to be perfectly fine and the framerate is completely smooth, So I have no Idea what the problem is.
Everything works great except the breaking animation changes colour on me.
I am getting this too. It doesn't happen on the default texture pack, just the hd pack I'm using (sphax purebd). After a bit of mining I realized it's not actually the block that's glowing. If you start breaking a block at head height while looking at the bottom corner, only part of the block glows. You see part of a bright circle centered at where you are pointing, and the rest of the block looks normal, breaking animation and all. Very weird. It's a big annoying, but at least the shaders work perfectly otherwise.

Just thought I'd share this if you're trying to get v10 to work with another texture pack, you have to delete anim\custom_water_flowing.png and anim\custom_water_still.png if they exist.
Already posted this in Daxnitro's thread, figured I would try here as well.
Love, love, love this shader pack. With a photo realistic texture pack, it turns Minecraft into something beautiful and so much more immersive. Problem is, I love a lot of other mods too. And it barely works with any of them.
My error is the same "Already tesselating" that a handful of others on the interwebs are experiencing. I have done a LOT of testing trying to get this to work with other MODs and don't see the point in posting my error logs since others already have, but I will post my observations...
Doesn't happen in vanilla Minecraft.
Seems for most people to happen within a few seconds of loading a world, even though the shaders are working fine before the crash.
Happens more as more MODs are installed.
Happens more when connected to a server than when in single player.
Some people are claiming it is related to depletion of ram but I have observed that this is NOT the case. I can allocate 6GB to Minecraft and watch it using less than 500MB but still crash.
It also has nothing to do with VRAM usage as I experience the crash when my GFX card is only using a few hundred out of 2GB ram.
It has nothing to do with CPU or GPU load as I experience the crash with my CPU at 30%-50% and my GPU at 50%-70% load.
It is definitely affected the amount of alpha blending taking place in the scene. Sonic Ether has suggested this himself in response to another poster, and I have proven it by testing in different situations and with different settings that control which textures are allowed an alpha channel. ExtraBiomesXL, for example, is almost impossible to run alongside this mod without setting trees to "fast" or disabling the various Redwood and Jungle biomes. Spawn in a desert biome and everything is OK, then walk over to a Redwood biome and ... crash.
The alpha blending in the scene is not the only factor. I have experienced the crash even in biomes/scenes with very little alpha blending, but usually only after playing for some time.
Conclusion: this seems like some sort of simple timing or thread conflict issue. The wording "Already tesselating" sounds like two threads are trying to do something at the same time. If the crash can happen when neither the CPU or GPU is under full load, and plenty of RAM and VRAM are still available; it must be timing.
I have a good bit of experience coding, I would do whatever I can to help resolve this, but the shader coding is above my head. I realize Daxnitro is not really active these last few months, but I hope someone else might be able to offer some insight or help. It is a huge disappointment being forced to choose between this amazing appearance related MOD and all of my favorite gameplay related MODs, especially when my PC has plenty of resources left to throw at the client.
Regardless, thanks to Daxnitro and all the shader contributors for all the wonderful work.

Does it happen with Photo Realism only?
If I don't install the Core version, like if I just wanted the shaders and not the motion blur and all that, will it work?
