I need help. So badly do I need help. I just want Dynamic Shadows for Minecraft. I've downloaded the latest Optifine, I've downloaded this, I downloaded the extra shaders - I ran them all as I needed too - and I'm getting all the wonderful options with Optifine - but no shaders. What do I need to do? What am I missing?
I Have Installed OptiFine and this mod, then i went on it and noticed that the only difference was that parts of my map will not load unless i go near them then they disappear when i go away? also the shaders barely worked for some reason?
Everyone that's having issues with the installer, try another installer from daxnitro's thread or website and then install my shaders manually by dropping "shaders only", available in "Additional Files" in the original post, into minecraft.jar/shaders
Hope that helps! I've actually had this problem before and I fixed it by finding another one of daxnitro's installers.
Random blacknesn, higher fps with pimped pc, tool transparency.. if you resolve this you'll be my god XD btw great great great work untill now! can't wait for your update *_*
Just fixed tool tranparency! Gotta polish this up just a bit more before I update :smile.gif:
Looks really cool!
Gonna try it out, but just a little question, do you add torch lightning? Right now its kind of weird looking :biggrin.gif:
Only when there is a shadow over the torch. Torch lighting works the exact same way it always has, but any pixels within a shadow are made darker. As you will always be putting your torches in shadows, they will appear to not give out any light - when in actual fact they do give out light, the whole world is just darker so what 15 light looks like with the mod is more like what 5 light looks like without it.
Also, just going to ask again as I have seen no response to it thus far - can you add bump and specular mapping to this too?
Also, there was a fix for having to turn off the sky in Optfine for the godrays to work if you can find it in the GLSL thread. It had something to do with one of the vec3s being 0 instead of a whole lot of calculations. Would be nice if you could put it there by default for those of us who like seeing our sky, and who can't search through a whole lotta text for one line of code.
For some reason, the mod did not work, but only once. After I crashed, it never worked again and just placing a torch crashed me. I was using a small window to use it. Do video cards help any for this? Thx for reading.
Can i have a hand i get this ugly error while i play minecraft i installed it correctly.
Halp D:!
I dnt get any textures at all just colurs the motion blur and everything is there but no textures i dnt know wats goin on :tongue.gif: help would be appreciated thx. oh and ive been looking around for somthing to make minecraft look better and ive finnaly found it :biggrin.gif: good job. now if only it will work properly.
Yeah, I can't seem to get it to work. I've tried all kinds of variations between the different modifications, but nothing is working. Could I get like a video tutorial or something? Thanks.
People need to read some of the posts before posting their questions.....everyone is repeating the same thing when the solution is already answered on the same page.
Thank You For Shaders.

Must I say more?

SSAO is ambient Occlusion. It is in the final.fsh file, put a // infront of any #define line that mentions SSAO.
Is there any way to turn of motion blur? It makes me dizzy when I'm chasing pigs.
Damn it! I was going to buy that card... but now i think I'll pass :sad.gif:

EDIT:
Also does anyone know if it's possible to get godrays and leave the sky turned on? Not having a sky is ugly.
I'm having a weird bug.
